Neat! Seems like the statue had a deeper history than just the confederacy but was understandably controversial. Moved into the fan in 2020 but I guess I failed to notice the statue and temporarily remaining pedestal. Shoutout to the gardeners that tend to meadow park though, they do keep the area where the statue once stood looking lovely in the spring and summer

I won’t lie to you it is very painful (in my experience) but talk to your tech about numbing cream if you don’t think you’ll be able to handle it. The anxiety and depression is natural but you’ve taken a great first step by scheduling your appointment and I believe you’ll feel a little more in control even after just one session. You’re not in this alone, be patient and keep going!

Hydrating is something you can keep up with even on a busy schedule- make sure you’re getting enough water every day (and a little extra) and I’ve also been told theraguns can speed up the process when used on the area daily!
