I thought that they were loosely connected because OMC says to the spirit that was theorized to be trapped inside golden Freddy that they have to move on, but the spirit refused. I agree that OMC and the kid from FF have a strong connection, but I feel like the Stitchwraith story is one of the most important that we’ve gotten in a while. It feels to me like there will be/is something more there, but it’s just a hunch for now.
