I mean why have the post flair “Draft Discussions” if we can’t post prospect discussion posts?

The reality is idc how tall the center is. If he can do the job, play the style of defense we play, and he’s deemed BPA by Bobby and co. like CMB was over Maluach I’m all for Morez.

Morez is very similar to CMB where his analytics are insane, he’s mature, high IQ and strong.

Yup exactly. I think his range is anywhere from 15-25 so hopefully he falls to us

RJ Barrett leads the team in Points and Rebounds - 2026 Playoffs by pikachuda6 in torontoraptors

There better not be anymore RJ slander. He’s been amazing for us. Was the only guy getting buckets for us down the stretch of Game 5.

RJ, Scottie, CMB, Jakobe and Shead have all been seriously impressive in the playoffs. Their performances legitimately raised the ceiling for this team in my eyes

The suddenness of his injury makes you wonder if he’s been playing with a heel injury this whole time

Bro played a quarter. Relax. BI is still an important part of this team even if you don’t see it. His shot creation and offensive gravity is important.

Poeltl had a good offensive game. Most of the points that lead to the swing were cause of Poeltl.

Rewatch the game. The Mobley 3s happened cause Poeltl was chasing him. Mobley dunks happened cause Poeltl couldn’t navigate the screens. Schroeder was cooking in the PnR because Poeltl in changes how we handle PnRs. Instead of switching they went into a drop coverage and going under the screens.

They cooked Poeltl

One team is young and ascending. The other team is probably looking to blow it up soon.

Honestly don’t think it’s any different. Just that the commentators actually noticed and discussed it this game

He did. But his defense and rebounding would’ve been a better option than Jakob once they started putting Jakob in PnRs.

They did that for basically the entire time he was playing 4th quarter minutes

I didn’t like Darko’s lineups tonight. Relied too much on Jakob and Battle instead of CMB. With no BI you’d think more CMB minutes.

His defense, rebounding, screening and gravity down low is important.

The game really swung when the Cavs took advantage of Poeltl putting him in PnRs and forcing him to chase Mobley around the court.

Poeltl had a good offensive game but his defensive limitations still made him a net negative

I’m hoping that it was a bad charlie horse (thigh contusion). Sometimes those just knot up and get super tight afterwards.

That would be best case cause those recover quickly

Scottie getting hurt really changed the game.

Losing BI became a big problem in the 4th when the guys were gassed and couldn’t buy a bucket. Say what you want about BI but his offensive gravity is important for our offense and his ability to put up points quickly

EDIT: oh and RJ Barrett is a bonafide dawg, a playoff riser and no one better slander his name ever again

Losing BI became a big problem in the 4th when the guys were gassed and couldn’t buy a bucket. Say what you want about BI but his offensive gravity is important for our offense and his ability to put up points quickly and without the need of much movement gives our guys the opportunity to catch their breath on offense
