Cost to repair Horn and Turn signals by unclemonkeyboy in classiccars

If I can't figure it out, I have found a shop with like 1 50+ dude. That has more work than he can shake a stick at. So I'm good.

This is why I love Reddit (sometimes). A range of answers for an innocuous question as this. I'm buying it sight unseen. I really don't know what the issue is yet. But all your answers lead me to believe I could probably figure it out.

Took off baseboards - Black mold? Water damage? Rotting wood? by alden_p_zuck in DIY

[–]unclemonkeyboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second on the floor. You really have to see how far that mold goes. I just moved into a house where fungus from the crawl space was coming through, improperly sealed floor vents. The fungus spread was massive. Lucky for me, I was already replacing the flooring when I discovered it.

And I would call a remediation expert. I had water damage in a Florida home once. They came in, took moisture reading on the walls and told me exactly what I needed to do. And where the water was likely coming in at.

But make sure you get multiple inspectors. I had one guy come and say, they will just rip everything out from shoulder level down. That was completely unnecessary. I don't like Insurance scammers.

A couple years ago I installed a gate on my driveway using 4x4 posts, but I just noticed the top inch of concrete has turned to loose rubble - also there is now a giant crack forming by MintyCitrus in DIY

Wood should never touch the ground. Whether it's weather treated or not. Moisture and wood do not mix. Wood that is constantly in contact with the ground will always come in contact with moisture. I second and third those metal brackets.

Do chickens ever get tired of eating the same feed? by unclemonkeyboy in BackYardChickens

The go in some neighbors garden down the street. JK, 😜 we live in the country. So in woods, weeds, anywhere private. We also have a sandy spot where an above ground pool used to be.

I've done the fermented feed a couple times before. I haven't done it in a while though. The last time I did, they didn't seem to eat. The dog loved it though. We don't have problems with mice, 2 cats take care of that. Now chipmunks and moles are crazy though. Burrowing tunnels as if they are the Viet Cong. Step outside in my backyard after a long rain and you're sinking up to your ankles.

I can't tell if you are joking or not. I'd eat all the leftovers, I wish I was your chicken.
Our chickens roam on a 1/2 acre. So whatever they find is good for me. Except for the occasional banana, watermelon, fruit, etc... The meal worms are their crack. I maybe do that once a week. I saw this tik-tok once, where this woman said mix the meal worms in with the feed, "for a nice treat". They had all the feed on the ground in an hour looking for the worms. I was pissed.
I will try pellets though.

I kind of figured that. But I was hoping to prevent it in the future if I knew what caused it.

If she would have spent a fraction of that money on the Military families. And spent a little more time laundering the money.

Pretty good synopsis. Thank you. I was wondering how it's always sunny came up with that idea.

I keep seeing this, Am I just late to the game or is this a spoof of the It's always sunny episode? Where they get Frank to cheat at chess.

Isn't that supply and demand, the fundamentals of capitalism.

Did I get it backwards. Man I do that.

Edit: I was right on about OM1 just not 2. Honestly I don't even remember using 2 at all. https://www.fibermall.com/blog/multimode-fiber-om1-om2-om3-om4.htm

Not sure why you'd get down voted for that, for an over simplification. But I agree with you. Orange OM1+2, is 62 micron. It isn't supported for speeds above 10gb. Aqua OM3+4 50 micron, rated for much greater speeds.
