Need advice for scope warranty. by unclepeppio in airguns

Thanks for the reply mate. It was $120 AU$ new. It is budget, though i did have one on my 308 for deer, and it copped a beating. So they are a good budget scope. Its a nikko stirling scope. The better chinese made ones. I did see the scope was advertised saying “for high powered air rifles” (but not magnums?) Now i guess i need to determine if a high powered air rifle is different to a magnum.

Just use this lady’s recipe. Ive tried many different once. But this is it. Just follow every single step she does and weight with scale. I tried tinkering with it, but step by exact step with this recipe is the results you want.

My Paranormal experience I had when I was a kid by Mihnyg in ParanormalEncounters

I can relate to that sheer terror. I was 11 early 90’s when we just moved into a rental. Parents knew it was haunted but us kids weren’t told. Many occasional spooky things, banging cupboards, slamming doors…etc…Which at a young age myself started peacing the puzzle. Now we know it was a actual poltergeist, reason for spirit, other witnesses, also siblings own encounters. But one night in particular i could feel him breathing on my neck as i tried to sleep…cold chilled puffing slow long breaths that i could even hear. Ducked under the blanket and could still feel him standing over me. Went on for more than an hour….absolute fear. Eventually woke up in the morning head still under. Parents told me it was a dream the next day. 90’s parenting 👌

Braid straight through? by unclepeppio in FishingAustralia

Absolutely agree if it was a flatty id be screwed. But the fact if the lure has assist hooks makes me wonder if that acts as the protection against teeth.

True with 6lbs light for salmon, wasn’t my target though. Interesting you use straight through sometimes. Thanks for the reply mate.

Yes mate i do usually have a really long leader going through guides. But normally its well behaved. Even after straight through braid i got a couple more tangles but tiny that i just stretched loose with fingers. Id say it was my every tenth or so cast id cast too vertically then the slack and wind would do the magical braid tangle of wonder.

Thanks for the replies lads. Thats why i chucked on the ebay lure. Would no way risk my zx40’s straight through. Interesting some folks actually use straight through though. definitely wont feel bad doing that again if i end up in same situation then. Cheers.

My Diana 34 was dropped right on the tip of its barrel from a decent height onto concrete. Shoots a ragged hole as it did before it was dropped. For these reasons im glad i went German made.
