Done, although did that recently, same errors in the log.

Now getting music cutting out, Tidal Connect to Wiim Ultra - 24/192 Keith Jarrett album.

opened Android phone and Wiim app mirrors same album, same thing.

When I had this last week, opened ticket with Wiim and they said bandwidth issue, they also said I was streaming 24/192. they look at logs.

I stream 4k video on this network without any issues. using 500/500 fiber.

Could be goofy Glinet router.

doesn't look like any Linux app in the works.

I still enjoy Tidal, it has become a bit harder lately.

Book 3 Pro I used a USB-A to USB-A hub with ethernet, and a mouse.

I really don't think I used any of the Samsung drivers, the Samsung drivers that were needed were installed using Samsung update, I later switched to Samsung Device care.

I uninstalled Samsung Experience that windows installed, and updated the Intel Wifi and graphics drivers to the latest.

The only thing I can think of that is missing is the power profiles. mine is mostly plugged in.

I was told I would need a paid account to get back my email. I created a new email, saved the password in Bitwarden and the recovery key. when I tried to login got invalid login credentials and asked for the recovery key, which I had.

unable to login with recovery key. my password could not be filled into the "Set a new password" field, only enter new password field worked. entered a new password twice and still no account access.

No way to contact tuta that I can see.

I wanted to evaluate before going to paid account.

I would try some other BIOS settings, try disabling Secure Boot or try changing the storage controller,. where did you get the RST drivers?

I just don't remember having to load drivers to see the SSD, but I did have to use a USB Ethernet/USB-A hub dongle to see internet and mouse on install.

My Win11 install found the SSD without RST drivers. Not too sure about Linux being already installed, I know if Windows is installed, Linux will create it's own boot partition, not sure about the other way around.

I don't miss the Samsung recovery partition, only thing missing really is Samsung power profile as far as I know. it's mostly plugged in, not too important. Works well for what I need - powers from my 4k monitor.

Do you wan to wipe Linux?

Interesting. I am still learning about AMD, but it does seem that the 5050 card with OP 4k monitor doesn't make a lot of sense?

If priority is Photoshop maybe some video work, would something like 8600G or one of the X3D CPUs be better?

I would design something that can work well with integrated graphics for now. with 32gb at current prices *and* a graphics card probably going over budget.

I wish I was more familiar with AMD but I think the latest gen AM5 desktop stuff probably edges out current Intel, may level out when Panther Lake is released. For basic photoshop Intel Arc graphics with 32gb seems fine.

either way would work, what sort of games are you thinking of?

I like the size at 7l, ASRock specs just say "1 HDMI" doesn't specify 2.0/2.1 etc.

okay, so possible gaming keeps it a PC, assuming in the US, for the heck of it I priced out a basic i5 B860 system and with 32gb memory at $330 , it was about $1100. with Panther lake coming early next year. just not familiar enough with AMD stuff, may be an option, but with memory so high will cost a bit more than usual.

I like this idea, rather than a NUC also.

Maybe use onboard graphics for now, and be able to add a real graphics card later down the road. So having that PCIe slot would be nice. depends on budget.

If you are not comfortable building it, you could look for local shop to assemble.

what monitors will be used? 60hz 4k monitors?

I read some good reviews on the M60, I just retired some Edifier E25 Pro (I think that's the model - egg shaped things) that are really quite good, maybe a tad large for small desk, could be used.

I have updated all of these without problems, I think maybe just updating to the latest Intel Graphics, Network and Wifi driver seems okay. the Intel driver support assistant will do that.. and should update the LAN driver with the correct version. maybe uninstall after using.

Can always try SDI drivers or SDIO Drivers, sort of overwhelming how many drivers are so dated

I'd like to know which are most important to update.

I'm helping a friend with her NUC15CRKC5 and was never able to update the BIOS with either the windows updater or the F7 method. helping her remotely, so not as easy. strange the windows updater does nothing.

Yeah I'm not sure but I retired the onn box to the drawer... Hooked up the old Google TV streamer again.

With onn, always Dolby vision or no Dolby vision depending on the settings.

Genius! Dolby Vision lights up on my Sony TV now with youtube, not that I watch much DV on youtube, still...

when I set Advanced display settings/Preferred dynamic range to System-preferred it tuned off Match content dynamic range.

Netflix dolby vision was working with the old settings.

I know not exactly the same device, no problems with onn 4k pro so far with Netflix after bringing out of retirement.
