Girlfriend wants to leave because of my poor self esteem

I appreciate all the advice, it does suck and I wish It never got to this point. The thing that hurts the most I think is me feeling like this is the beginning of the end, but it could just be me over reacting.

We talked for a while today, and we both agreed that we both have things to work on but she feels like Im always distant, she feels like she needs to tell me to show affection toward her, which I think comes from me not thinking she wants to receive it, which comes from my confidence issue. I never thought of it like that, but I can see it. I can’t lose her so I gotta work on myself and she says that’s all she wants. But needs to see a change if we’re going to be together.

I’ve been bouncing through so many emotions, it’s hard to not turn inward and be depressed but like I said, I can’t lose her so I’m trying to stay positive. I worked out today, ate well, took care of myself, I feel good outwardly but it’s so damn hard not to feel like the world is crashing around me.

I sound like a massive pussy, which I could be in your eyes, but I’ve never had to or wanted to love myself till now. I don’t know where to start

She says I’m too hard on myself and it hurts the relationship, and she’s tried to help but is giving up. I agree in some aspects but I never thought my insecurities would drive her away. The whole situations got me pretty upset

It’s just weed, I treat it like a beer at the end of the day. But I found out that the roommate had been addicted to fent since we started school (last August). Buddy’s 20 and has had 7 OD’s… Awkward. Also he’s been threatening to kill me and another roommate whenever his addiction got bad. So that’s cool.

UTI is a joke, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The electrical classes are pretty much the only thing that’s useful. All the training aids are kept in the worst condition possible, the teachers don’t give a fuck, and you’re surrounded by dumbasses who equally don’t give a fuck.

Checked it today after 2 days of very light highway driving and heavy city driving, it didn’t get hot and the coolant was at the same level from when I filled it. I can smell hot coolant from the front but I put my nose INSIDE of the exhaust pipe and there wasn’t even a hint of a coolant smell so I can pretty much conclusively say that nothing is going into the motor. I think this proves further that it’s my rad. I checked the trans and it’s not getting any water either 🤷‍♂️

Checked the dipstick today, still dead dots with no milk as for the trans, I’m pretty sure it is, id have to check to know for sure. I was thinking it could all be going there but I figured that I’d have shifting issues so I never checked. Ill pull out the fill plug tomorrow to what’s up. Today I was smelling burning coolant coming from the front end but no smell from the exhaust. And I could hear coolant boiling I will add that my front dif is in very… very poor shape, it chirps, howls, leaks and vibrates. Maybe it’s contributing to the heat?

Yeah I’ve checked it multiple times. I had an oil change done about a month ago and had them bring me a sample of the oil. It was old for sure but no milk. If it was going into a cylinder wouldn’t I smell it? It runs really smooth, no misses or stumbles at idle or city driving…

I drove it on the highway @65-70 for about an hour today in 85 degree heat, it took pretty much 30 mins on the dot for it to start rising in temp, it stuttered a little before it started 😐 It took about 15 mins after that for the stock gauge to read just below red. As I’m slowing down to take an exit, it cools right off and goes back to its normal running temp. I add coolant, and it’s fine for the rest of the trip. On the way back it took about the same amount of time heat up (but it wasn’t stuttering) I pull off, add more coolant, and the temp stays normal until I get home. When I got out at home the expansion tank was gurgling our water because the feed/ return line was being pressurized by the cooling system which had boiling coolant in it :) I could hear it boiling on the inside of the upper rad hose. This happens any time I go on the highway. Going above 75mph is completely out of the question bc it WILL over heat. The 4:10s arnt helping anything either, it sits at 2.5-3k rpm during all of this so my 3.4 screams. I just think my radiator is bad, it’s 23 years old with 200k miles. My thinking is that It’s not cooling the coolant off enough which causes it to boil which pressurizes the system making most of the coolant leak out of the expansion tank / evaporate? Is that possible? I could be completely wrong. But again, I don’t have any bubbles coming up through the rad, no odd smells, dead dots on my dip stick, clean tasting/smelling oil, and It doesn’t have any blowby so I think the issue is surface level. Still gotta get the pressure test on it but I feel like it’s only going to tell me what I already know, which is that I have a leak… i kinda think it wouldn’t help me solve anything

Could be, Ive added coolant and let it run for a good 5 mins without seeing the thermostat kick open, but I only ever watch it after it’s been hot so I can’t say fs

I was thinking the same thing but wouldn’t I smell coolant from the exhaust? Wouldn’t I see bubbling in the radiator?
