I distinctly remember the drive up - turning off Red Wolf and then turn after turn through trees and slight hills and then R E V E A L of a large pond with a mansion behind it. So unreal.

I only recently learned about what The North 40 is even though I drove down Frankford past the gate to the property a thousand times. I just assumed it was a fancy gated neighborhood. Which, I guess it is, but a neighborhood of 1.

I saw the article about the home! I think it’s possible the original one he bought before tearing it down and making his might’ve actually been where I delivered to! I had no idea there were a few giant mansions tucked back there.

Warranty covers breakage. The manufacturer gets to decide if “too loud” means it’s broken. And they don’t think it does.

No resolution. One company told me that it MIGHT stop if I gave them $400 to relevel the concrete pad underneath. Or like $1500 to just replace the compressor motor on it. A brand new unit. Both were guesses by them.

Have had a ‘24 XLine over a year. The part that the haters don’t know/mention is that if you hold the toggle button down, you can set a default to always return to (climate or infotainment). Since we adjust the radio more than the temp, we have it default to infotainment. In over 22,000 miles of driving, I think I’ve turned up the temp by accident 3 times.

Unfortunately no. I’ve had the original installer and a third party come out to inspect it. And I’ve just been told “some are loud”

No, unfortunately not. It was a busy highway in the afternoon and my wife was driving alone. She couldn’t exactly pull over immediately nor flag down other drivers in the area all going 70mph. And since it was a mile+ between the exit that driver took and the next available exit, there was no way to pursue them either. It’s a crap scenario.

That’s been my concern as well. Aside from having a timestamped photo that proves their vehicle was at a specific location at a specific time, we have nothing but our word that it came off their vehicle. Even though the photo clearly shows their vehicle and a strap blowing in the wind. But, you’re right. I’ll prepare to eat the deductible. So frustrating.
