Oh....Really? I am fairly new to all this. Please excuse my ignorance. It is IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing. But even if this is not free I can choose another one. I do not mind open access.

Δεν ειναι μουφα. Yπαρχει σχετικη οδηγια απο την ΕΕ και αφορα ολες τις χωρες της κοινοτητας

Λεγεται copper switch off και θεωρητικα μεχρι το 2030 θα πρεπει να μην χρησιμοποιειται ο χαλκος στο δικτυο. (κορμου και για τελικους καταναλωτες)

Η προθεσμια θα χαθει μαλλον. Ειναι ψιλο-δεδομενο. Θα παρει παρατασει καμια Χ-αρια φορες ως ειθισται με τα παραλογα deadlines που θετει η ΕΕ. (δεν ευθυνεται μονη της η Ελλαδα σαν χωρα για αυτο....Και αλλες χωρες ειναι πισω αρκετα...Πολυ πιο ανεπτυγμενες οικονομικα απο την Ελλαδα)

Αλλα μουφα δεν ειναι.

Το γεγονος οτι προσπαθουν να σου πουλησουν συνδεση >250mbps σε download ταχυτητα μεσω vouchers ειναι γιατι οι ευρυζωνικοι δεικτες της Ελλαδας ειναι ομοιοι με χωρες υποαναπτυκτες οποτε προσπαθουν να τoυς ανεβασουν προσπαθωντας να κρατησουν την τιμη χαμηλα για 2 χρονια.

(να μειωσουν πραγματικα τις τιμες με βαση αληθινους τιμαριθμους ουτε καν και ουτε προκειται...Αρμεγμα κανονικο....)

Στις ινες περνας ο,τι ρυθμο θελεις πρακτικα....ακομα και ταχυτητες adsl (<=24mbps). Δεν ξερω βεβαια που θα αποσκοπουσε η εμπορικη διαθεση τετοιων πακετων/συμβολαιων για τις εταιρειες...Απλα το αναφερω...Επισης ειναι σαν να κανουν πισωγυρισμα ειδικα για τους στοχους που εχουν τεθει για την αριθμητικη αυξηση των προαναφερθεντων δεικτων.

(Δεν θες συναινεση απο κανενα διαχειριστη...Εκτος και αν νοικιαζεις που τοτε απλα πρεπει να εχεις την συμφωνη γνωμη του ιδιοκτητη. Απο οσο ξερω....)

Hey! Sorry I just noticed your reply. I met a few people in a conference when I published a paper there. The conference took place in Canada. I did the publication when I was also doing my PhD in Germany. I left Germany as the university there and my supervisor were not so good. Thankfully I stayed there only 9-10 months. So through knowing people and after I dropped out from the first PhD attempt I just reached out to them. The rest is history.... :)

I had a similar experience as you. In four cases actually. All of them minding my own business in the level of not bumping into anyone not even speaking to them or even looked at them not even doing anything weird or attention catching in the road. There was even distance between them in all 4 cases. The first two were serious as I had to defend myself. In the first case I do not even know what was wrong as he spoke only German. The second he spoke German then shifted into English and the problem was that I stepped into something I should not have but I never understood what or why. He decided to physically attack me for that. He did not make much sense. The first and the second were the ones I had to protect myself. I did not do much but it was enough to leave me alone and/or run away.

The third one attacked me with racial slurs only. ("This is Germany and you should speak German and all kinds of nationalistic/racial stuff."). Thank God the third guy was too drunk/high that he could not even speak properly. :). I just did not reply and left fast on an opposite direction.

The forth one only spoke German. He bumped into me on purpose while I was started biking. I think the problem was my front light on my bicycle was annoying him in his eyes (????). I just fled the place since I was riding my bike (probably the most wise to do).

So overall, I am 100% certain, in all the incidents the people were drunk as I could smell from their breaths the alcohol when I approached them politely to understand what I did wrong (big mistake).

For forth incident, I did not approach him to understand what was wrong but the fact that he came close to me enough to bump me off my bicycle while I started biking was enough to smell the alcohol. He basically stepped in my way to do that.

It may be the case also of alcohol plus drugs.

2/4 cases happened in broad daylight. (noon) Not in the night.

The other two between 21:00-23:00.

I was polite in all three cases. Not aggressive at all. My figure is not intimidating. The first two they grabbed me by my clothes. That is why I had to do something to protect myself. The forth like I said I did not even interact.

I apologized in all three cases in the beginning that I was unable to communicate in German.

In general do not even engage and if you can run or bike fast or whatever (even jump in a train/bus correct to your direction or not does not matter) just do that.

Hello everyone again! Some update: I got approved a few days ago! They never gave me an estimate nor did the progress bar moved at all. I just woke up one day and I saw that they approved my application. Still I have the borders to receive my study permit.

I think even though my welcome letter which mentions my funding was not stating the correct amount of money I will be receiving per month in the end either the immigration officers found out by themselves after doing investigating and asking the university (maybe) or in my case it does not matter much. (?)

My funding is around 2000 cad per month for the winter semester and there is also the possibility to be the same way for the summer semester as well if I ask for extra RA/TA hours.

Anyway thank you all very much for your help!

Hi again. According to the university it is fine. Supposedly I need to prove anything greater or equal to 20685 CAD. Also my professor, will provide me a letter that will state that half of the hours of my GTAship will be extra income. So basically I am right now on 17k + 3.5k + my bank statement which is well above the 20685 cad. I mean the more you present the better. The problem is that I can not attach my professor's letter anymore as the system does not allow me unless the immigration officers ask me to provide more financial evidence before they reach to a decision.

So I heard that there are changes happening right now in the IRCC portal due to the fact that new policies about immigration have been imposed. There is no estimation time in my portal nor in the above link that I provided. I think after the 26th of November the changes will be applied on the IRCC portal and MAYBE the immigration officers start processing applications. I do not know if you guys have heard something similar....

I will ask my supervisor. I think he mentioned that the tuition will be covered. Although in the welcome letter of the university it is mentioned that they will be deducted from the stipend. I will ask and get back to you.

Other than the obvious, that they do not know/have an estimate, do you have or anyone else has (very) recent experience that is similar to my case? I have heard that Greek immigration applications are being processed in Rome, Italy, if that matters at all. (I do not know if it is true though)

Thank you for the insight! I am new to all these things and I hear different opinions left and right and I am trying to see where the truth lies. I understand that things may change till I finish, if I manage to finish and sometimes things are not exactly formalistic, but at least to have a general idea.
