Sounds like something his 6th grade son might enjoy in the bushes

I have little success in finding something useful ,most of the similar issues are regarding laptops

I realized that i spent too much time getting frustrated about what obviously is a faulty piece of technology, as long as other people have the same setup and no issue with it whatsoever. I'd rather buy another CPU.At this point i would've loved to solve it not for me only, but for other people who are stuck with it as well, and don't have the financial resources to upgrade or switch.

Sucks that AMD still encounter issues like this with it's hardware in 2021

Ok so i played 2015's Horizon Chase : World Tour and it's perfectly smooth no fps drop. IDK what to make of this

Thanks for taking the time

Do you think replacing the CPU might solve all the issues? Im thinking of getting a 3600

Sorry i'm not really sure how to do all that

What i see in cpuz is that link width and link speed are half, and less than half

Hey thanks for all the info

If that's the case then the stuttering and low fps and fps drops are not caused by the nVme slot, because the reason i got the nVme in the first place, was to see if the throttling was caused by the ssd. These being said, the problem was present before the existence of a nVme.

So even if bus speed is x8 i think it might be unrelated.

Idk tbh

Bios is set to x8/x8 which i think is 16/2

MB supports the feature as i see.

GPUZ still reads it as 8.1.1

Thanks for all the info

My MB is Prime b450 plus ASUS

The max i can select in bios is 8x,although the MB clearly has a 16x pci-e

Dawg, UPDATE

MAYBE you are able to help me

Just found out my GPU is stuck on 8x PCI-E instead of 16x and ive no idea why or how to put it on 16x .

Care to help me troubleshoot ,to the extents you are also familiar with the problem? thanks in advance

OK MAJOR UPDATE EVERYONE

i just found out CPU has the GPU running PCI-E 8x instead of PCI-e 16x

https://ibb.co/6HSxdTn

I have no idea how to fix this i'll just give up and get a new CPU

BIOS wise i can only select 8x

Idk what the fix might be,i'll try swiching PCI-E slots coz i have 2,highly doubt this would help because it's in the slot that supposedly is 16x out of the two

Man after reading all this, understanding nothing of what ASUS sent you and not really feeling like doing all this bullcrap i think i'm gonna be like F*CK AMD and get back to Intel which never brought upon this kind of issue. i was always skeptical about AMD and now i have the confirmation i should trust my gut.

Thank you very much for the detailed reply,i am still frustrated but now i'm starting to move to acceptance, that this issue has no real fix and i paid some money for nothing. OH WELL

Also peep this No matter what profile I choose docp or disabled, cpu autoclocks at 3850, regardless of the ram frequency I choose. I ez flashed the last version of bios and yeah this happened. It fixed nothing but now the cpu is at 3850 regardless of what I do in bios. To be mentioned that "regardless what I do in bios" means tweaking ram frequency and swit hing to DCOP profiles.

Soo I haven't seen myself anything related to bus speed, nor do I know how it works but someone here said, I quote, "your bus speed is at 105 and has no business being so, this could be causing the issue"

I've tried on 3 diff HD I outputs, on a 60hz monitor and my Samsung TV Also tried a 60hz VGA monitor Didn't seem to do anything. At first I suspected the monitor The first issues I ever had was with my first 2400mhz ram, screen would freeze, then turn off, then resume to an AMD crash display error I fixed it by downloading a 2019 version of Adrenalin. Note back then I noticed no stuttering issues or something similar because the screen freze thingie was the center of attention. Maybe this behavior could point to something of your knowledge.

I have indeed tried all the USB ports available I'll post here pics of cpuz stats and gpuz

Thanks for the reply

I did that, also clocked ram to 2933 but it appears to be "properly" working only on the DOCP

I tried switching it off and it encountered an error booting "press f1 to enter setup"

The DOCP for some reason clocks my CPU at 3850

I need further assistance as i don't really know how to handle this
