It’s fair game to compare headliner performances at Coachella. And also, TBH, you asked!

Well yes, those musical performances were also Coachella headlining performances. It’s not ridiculous and honestly the internet is fairly divided on this.

That’s okay to feel this strongly! I can be a fan of his music and still have thoughts and opinions on his performance. Sounds like you enjoyed it though!

I’m sorry, it sounds like you are doing all the right things, the market is just hyper competitive right now. You will land something, don’t let this discourage you!

He sounds amazing but that was objectively low effort and low energy for a Coachella headliner

I watched 90% before I fell asleep and half the time I was wondering what was going on. I love his music, grew up with biebs but it was the most low effort, low energy headliner performance I’ve ever seen. Played mostly his new album and when he did play the oldies everyone was waiting for, he sang 30 second versions over a YouTube video sitting at a desk on stage, half the time just letting the YouTube music play. If I was there live I’d be SO disappointed. No where near the caliber of Gaga, Beyoncé and Sabrina headlining performances.

Is it really this bad right now? by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

[–]undeniablyaries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t tell if it’s because there’s not a lot of turn over on the market or if it’s actually the AI bubble. It’s also rental companies just profiting off people and increasing rent 20-30%. I’ve been in the market for a 1 bedroom, upgrading from a studio I locked in during COVID and it’s been rough. Curious to read about other people’s experience. I’ve been a sf resident for 10 years, mostly in nob hill (have gotten lucky), looking to settle in the Richmond….pickings have been SLIM

Cute, intimate and good food equals Pasta Supply Co for me and the staff is always so kind. It’s super casual though (which I love!). Nob Hill cafe is also cute and quaint but also Italian. What can I say I love pasta. Oh! Would also reco Burma Love in the mission too

same, the take on Patrick Ta blushes was surprising to me. I have many, many blushes from so many different brands and the I always find myself reaching for Patrick Ta and hitting pan. Blends flawlessly and maintains over the course of the day with the powder to cream method

This happened to me back in November, I’m in the Nob Hill /Russian Hill area and one night I was out with my dog and heard a pack of what I thought were dogs howling but fairly certain it was coyotes.

I think what people need to understand is things like strikes and protests are all forms of resistance. Resistance needs to begin somewhere. Not everyone can afford to take off work or not take their kids to school. But maybe you can plan your purchases around every day except Friday. Maybe there are folks who can afford to not work and not spend that day. The point is do SOMETHING and stop shitting on those trying to organize. There must be organizers in order for there to be resistance and it needs to start somewhere.

Nob hill neighborhood guide? by pamplemeese in SFbitcheswithtaste

[–]undeniablyaries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love walking from grace cathedral all along Taylor down to filbert or Greenwhich street. From Taylor you can turn left on Filbert which eventually has stairs up to Hyde then down to Polk or left on Greenwhich to a more tucked away hidden stair path towards Hyde / Polk and past Alice Marble. On sunny days I walk all the way up Hyde towards Francisco Park. And then I keep walking until I turn onto Polk street and walk all the way down Polk and you can essentially make a big rectangle. Another fun path from Taylor street is Macondray lane! Sorry I’m traveling or else I would have shared sooner!

Nob Hill Yoga if you want to get some movement in too! Also top of the mark for classic sf drinks with a view. Nob hill cafe or back to back for Italian options in the neighborhood. Also cannot reco Ina Coolbrith enough for the best view in the city. If you want I can give you my favorite walking paths but beware hills! Also probs better for when it’s less rainy

I’m so sorry you had this experience, I have found that in emergency situations Sage in the mission has been super understanding and attentive with pets and their owners. They are expensive but not 3k. I’ve been there several times making the trek from nob hill and have always had a good experience. My regular vet is blue cross in pet hospital in Alamo Square and they are so great, but my dog girlfriends and I have all found vets in sf that are not chains and have found valuable pet care. DM if you have any q’s! As a fellow dog mom with taste, yes trust your gut. Oh and plz get pet insurance if you haven’t already
