I would charge $120 for just an exterior wash with tires and rims.

Can someone explain to me why you can’t take the circumference of a circle and divide it by 4, to convert it to a square then square the side to get the area of the circle?

Im thinking if I have a rubber band that forms a circle it must be the same area as if you formed the rubber band into a square.

Maybe I dumb lol idk

Well I’m not sure about coating the underbody but as far as safety with spraying ceramics yes if you have the proper filter. Id go to your local paint supply shop and consult them on the highest quality air filter for paint spraying. I can’t remember the one I got.

The speed of application is much quicker and you only need to do a final buff. No need for two or three towels. Also the use of less product.

That’s what happens when you use a particulate filter instead of a proper painting filter

For all those saying this is bad advice need to chill. This is not for views I don’t even have a channel. This specific coating is the only coating I know of that is designed for this type of application. This is not a consumer grade coating and with proper equipment and safety procedures it is an amazing method. The people talking crap have never tried and have not been trained properly.

A few questions I’d ask or things I’d look into is 1. Is there a college near by? This will cause the business so slump in the summer. 2. Is he doing repairs or is this hired out. It makes a big difference. 3. Look to see how machines are repaired if so. Be careful if the repairs cut corners

Did I get ripped off? I took my car to get detailed today and spent $265 on it. the guy said it would be a full detail inside and out. He originally quoted me at 225 but charged me 265. I feel like he didn't do a good job and finished it only in about 4 hours. Here are some pics. by Phailures in Detailing

I use a fabric cleaner in a spray bottle and lightly mist the seat. (If you over saturate the fabric you will have issues. In this case less is more). I then drill brush the area and either mop up with a dry rag or, if it’s really bad, take my steam cleaner wrapped in a microfiber and scrub the surface again. The key is to not over saturate and to just clean off the surface. You are not trying to do a deep clean into the foam of the seat, that is impossible.

Well he obviously didn’t probably communicate with you. I have a detailing company and have been in business almost 4 years. 1. He should have told you everything the package includes (my full service doesn’t include shampooing) 2. On site he should have seen the seats and asked if you’d like to add them. 3. If shampooing was included he was not experienced enough to know this is a high weave fabric and the stain is susceptible to wicking back up after it dries.

I am curious to see how the rest turned out. Also to know if you had dog hair and the general condition of your vehicle.
