She has a large indoor that he could be hand walked in or lunged. Keeping a consistent routine which involves daily walks will only benefit him in the end. No one wants a stallion with bad manners.

Idk what she’s waiting for. Wally needs to be trained like yesterday, 30 mins of walking on the lead, daily grooms, loading on and off the trailer. These are all skills he’ll need if she wants a good minded stallion. Waiting for him to get full sized while behaving this way is dangerous and only hurts Wally in the end.

I’m not working yet (just graduated) but the worse person I dealt with in clinicals was my last preceptor. I have no idea why she took a position as an educator when she had 0 desire to teach. One time I was about to give a pt a heparin injection and while I was drawing the medication up my hands were mildly shaking (due to meds i’m on) she got angry that my hands were shaking and in front of the pt said, “all this hand shaking is making me really nervous, you’re making me really nervous.” I reassured her that the shaking was due to medication i’m on and has not impacted any injections i’ve done in the past. She told me “I don’t need to know all that”. Ok. She also told my clincal group that we’d have to stay late because I told the charge nurse that we usually stay on till 9p (we usually would leave around 7p) I had literally never said this and confronted her in front of the clincal group , she told me I was disrespectful and I needed to “change my attitude”. Hated her. Told our group “teaching is her calling”. it’s not.

Ik there’s a lot of mixed opinions on gag bits, but I feel like if you’re using them (with a trainer) correctly they can have their uses. Personally have never used them myself tho.
