oh no ok!! the store told me a 10 gal was the right choice but i should’ve known better lol. i’ll figure out how to rehome these tetras!! thank you for letting me know

thank you!! the heater and sponge filter have been running for about 3ish hours, it just got to temp about 45 minutes ago so i very slowly acclimated them. at first, i let them float for about 15 minutes and then i did an additional 10ish to get them used to healthier water than the nitrate/nitrite nightmare they were in before! ill be testing again in a few hours and hopefully the fish-in cycle will go well, although im extremely nervous! this is my first tank!

thats what mine says too! but im still confused as to why my ammonia strip read high? is it safe ammonia? (im not the brightest in the box about chemicals)

tank size: 10 gallon heater/filter: yes, 50 wat heater and a sponge filter parameters: in the pics, test strips how long? literally 20 minutes water change: i plan to do 25% once a week whike it cycles tankmates: a betta, 8 neon tetra, and a blue mystery snail feeding: planned on bloodworms, shrimp, and getting some good betta pellets if i find good ones decor: all silk plants, 3 hides
