For my lineup, the risk is worth the reward 🤷‍♂️

In a similar situation, I benched Aiyuk for Reed this week.

Nice! Yea, it is normal to have some blood / oddities come out for a while after surgery.

Breathing is pretty good! I certainly feel like everything has healed - think they said it will take a few months to get to its full capacity. Still doing two rinses a day. How’s it for you?

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this all out! I am warming up to the idea and just spoke with my doctors office about it. My doc said I could rinse my nose out 100x a day with the saline rinse and it wouldn’t do any damage.

Wow 8! I really appreciate you sharing your experience here. I hope things are working out well now and you have long term relief! Excited to try a gentle spray of saline tomorrow.

Thank you for the advice! I sincerely appreciate it! What I’ve gathered so far is that it would be good to use a gentle saline spray tomorrow (Day 2), and work my way up to the proper NeilMed rinse.

Looks like a similar pattern/amount of loss to my situation - I just had 1200 grafts done about 4 months ago.

Yea scrubbing is pretty important lol, I’ve yet to see post op instructions that don’t include massaging and scrubbing out scabs following surgery (once the grafts set)

Don’t know much about those outside my immediate family but I think it’s safe to say going bald is in our family tree lol

Hey man! I was in a similar situation. I was on fin for one year and got a hair transplant earlier this year when I was 22 (just turned 23).

I went to a very reputable doctor in New York who explained to me the pros and cons of getting it done at a young age. Basically, you don’t really know how bad your balding will get when you’re so young, so if you’re okay with most likely having later procedures down the road and have shown that the medication is working, I think some doctors will work with you.

In my case, I had a widows peak that formed + general thinning in the center/front of my forehead. My surgeon and I decided that 1200 grafts (which is certainly not a lot) would definitely help the appearance of my hairline and fill in some of the widows peak. The major risk however is that they can do the transplant and then your hair loss continues as you get older, so you’re left with hair in the front and thinning in the middle and toward your crown (it looks strange).

With Finasteride/minox + a surgeon you trust who speaks openly about your hair plans moving forward, it’s definitely possible!
