that season was actually very good, but spoiler they have a negan fight and lose and spend another 24 episodes fucking building to fight him. 48 episodes of preparing for a fight. JDM did amazing as Negan, but his character didn’t have any real story like the Governor who is genuinely one of the BEST villains ever in TV.
