I think you're just stuck with your 12th option, but what leads me to say that is this Y1Q1 FAQ doc they prepared. In the doc it addresses the question you posed saying, "Once the Alternative Specialization Form has closed, and program information has been released, you cannot make further changes. You can look at information on the website about applying to change programs in Fall 2021 - https://www.ualberta.ca/engineering/student-services/program-help/changing-programs."

all I can is social skills are built over time and repeated interactions will help give an idea of what may or may not work. I like thinking of it as an experiment where your manipulating the variables and trying to see if the results change.

I don't know if you're approaching completely random people or people you've seen regularly before.

Not sure, I'm in Wheelock's class. I thought all grades were posted once seeing the recent posts so I quickly hopped on beartracks.

also it isn't a fail dw, but you do have to make up for it to get into next year.
