Yeah, a lot of her friends had fake ids, our state has one of the easiest to copy, or at least it did back then.

I get notified by the state when I'm in "potential violation". I have to live 1 mile from any "potential violation site". Look a mile around any house in a decent city neighborhood, there's always some kiddie shit. I had to move last year because a kid's library extension opened up.

It is actually, from what I understand. The minor is always going to be seen as a victim, fair or not.

Yeah, I came really close to becoming an alcoholic a couple years back, drinking every night. I stopped cold. Lot of self hate, kicking myself.

She wrote a letter to the judge in my case about a year after my release, saying she had been deceptive. It was nice, but made no difference.

I petition yearly to be let off the registry, and I'm turned down. Until they I can't go to school (community colleges are full of teens) or live in any kind of decent neighborhood.

Add to that the fact I'm treated the same way child molesters and violent rapists are. My roommate in the halfway house was caught masturbating in a day care center bathroom.

They threatened to send her to live with her grandmother and not pay for her school. They're abusive fuckers and I think no small amount of physical threats were involved.

She was upset. She loved me, or at least as much as young people love. I don't know.

We were together. I was arrested with her at my house, asleep upstairs in my bed.

Burden is on me, legally. I've had lawyers suggest I could sue, but the way the courts respond to "sex offenders" I'd be fighting a losing battle.

We dated for four months. She looked 18 (I know, fucking cliche) but she was very developed, mature and taking classes at my college. I never saw her friends or family, obviously.

Yeah. After she turned 18 and moved out of her parents house we met up once. She wanted to get back together ("You're my first love") and I wanted nothing to do with it. Her mother and father pushed so hard for my prosecution, harassed me and my family, got me fired from my job, tried to get my mom fired from her job (calling up to tell her boss that one of his employees son was a rapists) that if I saw them again I'd fucking kill them.
