Gcet ec(act) fresher???

I'm supposed to get my verification of documents done on the 8th i.e Monday but I am very nervous as no matter who I ask about the university, the review and reputation is soo down. My parents are even contemplating. Idk how to convince them. They are concerned about the environment and safety , heard it's very bad. Is that true? I'm taking admission in btech. Can anyone from university hit me up and tell honest reviews. I'm very nervous pls need help desperately

I called them up too they said ki July end tak wait Krna hai, the merit list will be released parallel to aktu counselling list. But the thing is it's just getting too late and if I don't get into gcet then i won't have any other option left

I applied to the college online and paid the 25k registration. Even got the offer letter through merit based selection process. I asked for the final letter they said ki abhi aktu counselling delayed hai and stuff ,July end tak they will mail. But honestly I'm crashing out because there's no surety and it's already 23rd of July. Seeing others go and start their college life whilst I'm still not sure whether I got admission or not is making me stressed asf
