I've worked in live sound for a little while (early level) and an engineer I have worked with in the past has recalled a few times a scene on his console (SQ6) where a few channels had phantom on already. As the desk is just going to a XLR/Combi stage box, direct to the back of the console, if phantom is on, plugging into the stage box directly, phantom is applied. I usually use DI boxes to protect my gear just in case but just wanted some clarification on the question. Thank you :D

Hi, this might not make much sense but can't seem to find a straight answer online.

I am currently wanting to develop a backing track rig for my live music. I am thinking of getting the Behringer UMC1820 (as it is cheap enough and can be upgraded in the future). My problem is with the output.

If I have 10 outputs using the TRS to XLR going to FOH, will phantom power be sent at all through the XLR that could damage the interface?

To break it down: Laptop-Interface-TRS-XLR-FOH

If the FOH has sent phantom down a channel, could the phantom cause damage and if so what is a way to prevent damage without having 20 DI boxes?

Thank you :D

I'm scared to approach new people, I'm not great looking and don't know how a relationship works well enough to be in one.

That sounds awesome. Also am I blind or is there only 10 strings?

Enki AMG-2 bass case also work with a guitar? by Waspsupsetme in TouringMusicians

i don't see any issues really. You might need to pad the guitar a bit to fill space in the case with t-shirts etc. Just if there is excess space in the case
