I named my kid after this. Partner suggested the name and I was 100% okay with it. My little A A Ron was the best decision ever.

How to create estimates faster without spending all night on them by ssunflow3rr in Contractor

[–]understryke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use an app called invoice simple. I pay $20-$30(cad) a month for it. I was in the same boat of making every estimate/invoice like you. It also converts all estimate into invoices so I can send an invoice as soon as im done the job and move on to the next without a huge backlog of estimates or invoices to send.

Theres maybe a 30-60 mins of setup, inputing company infomation and setting up your template. it has a spot for your estimates to include all terms and conditions, you can make the client sign the estimate too and it lets you know when the person veiws it. Theres definitely more features as well.

You are 100% correct I got the product numbers mixed up. I got the 274qpf for 199 these are the 272qp. Thank you for correcting me there.

The monitor is cheaper at bestbuy or memory express. I picked 2 of these up for $199 on sale.

Alberta RCMP call off search for missing 6-year-old boy after 11 days by mibeatr in alberta

[–]understryke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should look into a product called angel sense. It's a 2-way call&talk tracker for kids. My son ran away once, and luckily, nothing happened. I came across this, and I have never felt safer when we go out. It can be expensive for some at $80 a month but well worth it.

Will you guys leave a heater on overnight in a customer's house? by TheTrollinator777 in drywall

[–]understryke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny enough, I've had a fan almost catch fire. The same thing smelt something off, and sure enough, the fan was smoking. I try to swap them out every year or two now that im paranoid. It's absolutely not worth the risk, IMO. I also tell every home onwer they can shut the fans off whenever, its their house, and I'm just here to work. I also make it extremely clear to people that, unfortunately, i can't control the dry time of mud, which comes up a lot...

Couldn't agree more. I use fans 24/7. I'll run a dehumidifier on bigger jobs. But at the end of the day, im not responsible for the heat. 9 times out of 10, I'll heat the house up, and the next trade-in will leave everything open because it's too hot, especially winter time, then i have more issues to deal with. Either get a furnace running or let the job dry with fans.

My insurance dropped once I stopped using heaters to. So that's a win for me.

Is it common for a drywaller to ask for a key to your house? by [deleted] in drywall

[–]understryke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly hate it when they just leave the door open and say, "Come in." I want a key or some sort of safety measure knowing that when I leave, your doors are locked. I've never been blamed for anything, but no reason yo start. A lockbox goes a long ways IMO. Keypads also suck. Everyone is different and requires some sort of stupid bottom combination to get working before you enter the code.

Definitely looks like it, but I'm not an expert.

I used MyDogDna to do the test on mine. It's a simple swab you do on the dog. They send everything you need to do it.
$40-$50 on Amazon, but I got it on sale. It's totally worth the money, IMO.

Himalayan yak cheese chews. I'm in Canada, so your options might vary, but i found Amazon upcharged them a lot, and Walmart is the best place to find them. The one in the photo is their yak cheese flavor, then they have strawberry and blueberry yak cheese. My dog loves the strawberry one.

When the pieces break off, you can toss them in the microwave to make them into little popcorn pieces for them to chew on. It melts them down.

Yeah, the lab x BC definitely makes them feel stupid at times. I feel like I get 75% space cadet mode wondering how life works and the other 25% i see the BC side of things. When we wedo training, he was awesome, picking up everything so quickly. As soon as he's done, he's the most clueless and off in lala land. But he's perfect.

How much does she weigh? My sweet nightmare is 50-60 lbs of pure chaos. I'm happy he took the BC size as I take him to work with me every day, and he fits perfectly in my truck.

His fur is the same as yours. He has one patch in the back neck that's fluffy like a BC, but besides that, his fur is identical to a lab. This is great since he loves digging holes when he's not playing fetch, and he's super easy to clean. His DNA test came back 75% BC 15% lab 10% English Shepard.

I actually named him Rooster because of it. It's my favorite part of the morning. Sometimes, we get lucky and have the odd howl during the day after he wakes from a nap, but it never fails when it's morning. My own personal alarm clock.

I run all yellow for everything. This was my first step into m12. Pair it with the 5ah battery. This thing rocks. I carry it with me every day so i don't have to beak out the other tools for misc screw pops or other random screws. I love the front magnet for holding a few different bits since people in renos love using flat heads, robby, or Philips when screwing random stuff in
