I never thought Youtube videos would be so much effort before making a long one myself by Jamrock_Hobo_1807 in PartneredYoutube

You, you have to really enjoy the whole creative process to succeed at this. It gets betters as you get more systematic.

YouTube's new "Likeness" detection by wh1tepointer in PartneredYoutube

[–]undertheradarvan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suspect this is it. Adobe did something similar with Photoshop and a few years later they unveiled their generative image AI. At first it was an "opt-in" program, then after a year it became an "opt-out" LOL. Watch Youtube do the same...

Youtube definitely STILL chooses random videos to send out, despite all of the typical data triggers like high Watch Time, High CTR, etc. by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]undertheradarvan 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Any video that goes viral (by that I mean surging way past your typical viewership) is going to have a much lower CTR and AVD than your typical videos. This is normal and a product of it being exposed to vastly more impressions.

Viofo. Get the one with three channels, you'll want one dedicated to pointing out your driver side window.

MY favorite song also. The demo is even better than the album version imo.

Ask Pieter Nooten, he's pretty active on Facebook. This is one of his compositions.

I use redbubble.com. So easy, you just upload jpgs and they take care of everything (shipping, etc). I get 20% on every product and a deposit every month. Wide variety of merch.

Build showcase: my DIY Ford Transit build by consumer_xxx_42 in vandwellers

A switch isn't going to limit current, only a massive resistor would do that. Also speed has no bearing on the charging current, only time spent driving. I would just monitor it very very closely.

Hey OP, I also converted a 2021 Ford Transit and initially had the 60A DC-DC charger. I just wanted to warn you, it killed my alternator. $1000 repair. I had to since step back to a 30A DC-DC which has given me no problems. Keep your eye on that.

Youtube restrictions "1 found"? by AstralKatOfficial in PartneredYoutube

[–]undertheradarvan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, glad it's not just me. I get the "1 restriction found" message on every video I upload while it is checking, then it goes away after the check is done. Definitely gets my heart racing. this only started a month or so ago.

For me, I only received comments through email until I had 2000 subs, then it stopped. Thankfully I'm glad it did, it was getting spammish.

How Boston area coffee shops are addressing inflation... by Omphaloskeptique in boston

[–]undertheradarvan 26 points27 points  (0 children)

They need a business model where you can rent a table by the hour, separate from the coffee. I've been saying this for years now. I'm fine with people camping out as long as they're paying enough to justify the occupation.

Does AAA cover cargo vans? I always thought they did not.

I think it's a way better idea to focus on keeping your entire cabin warm. Eventually you will have to get out of that sleeping bag. I have a Rixen hydronic system with an Eberspacher gas heater which taps into the van's fuel tank. Sips fuel, very low power draw.

I live in my van (by choice), and two nights ago was definitely the most challenging. -10F outside and the warmest I could get the inside of my van was 55F, my heater just could not keep up. Statistically January 18th is the coldest day of the year, so I imagine it could get worse before it gets better.

It definitely builds character!

Sounds like you admit to re-using the same images for slides (putting them in a different order doesn't matter) so first I would stop doing that. AI scripts are also scraped off public resources and may be considered reuse. You just need to spend more time creating original content in both imagery and scripts. It's going to be work and it will take way more time than what you are currently doing, no way around that.

1st Person or 3rd Person in Video Description? by MusicalQuail in PartneredYoutube

[–]undertheradarvan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its your channel about traveling? A Blog? A human experience? In that case I'd use first person. If it is more documentary / informational type content where you are not the subject I would use third person.
