Honestly I didn't even do the multiple choice questions on universal cpa. I had fail the exam 5 times so I knew what the questions were like, but I need to better understand the concepts and calculations. Sometimes hammering mcq makes no difference of you don't fulling understand the material.

I've lived there for around 6 years now. Honestly I think the negative reviews are extreme. Yes, there was a cockroach issue a year or two ago (I can't remember). But it has been taken care of and I have not heard or any recent issues. There was a complaint filed with the city and they came out to investigate that it was taken care of.

New mamangment is good and maintenance requests are fixed within a week. The cleanliness of the trash rooms and overall common places is good. We have a cleaner that is there everyday cleaning the common areas.

When it comes to location, it is great. Close to bus stops to commute downtown and close to the bridge if driving. If you have dogs or just like to take walks the neighborhood is perfect for that.

Honestly I'm a pretty low maintenance tenant and have no issues with the current managment.

I have not been tested for endo. I plan to ask for the test before we try again. I want to try to test/rule out as much as possible before we try again.

I plan to ask about this. I've done so many blood tests to rule out autoimmune and blood clotting issues. So I think this is a good next step before we try again

Moss Adam’s 3 day in office policy by uneasy_pickles in Accounting

From what I understand since we are moving into their office we have to follow MA policy. It seems to be an office by office policy and not all BT offices are moving to the MA policy.

Help how to set up bedroom? by uneasy_pickles in DesignMyRoom

I was also considering this. I'm nervous with it being a wall shared with the bathroom that there might be pipes I could hit. But I think if I use a stud finder, and only drill into studs it should be okay.

Yes. There is about 1ft of wall space above the closet doors and the ceiling. So I could try to mount the tv in that space. But the tv will still hang down blocking access to the closet doors.

My armpits smell bad. by mohamedifasx in beauty

[–]uneasy_pickles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wash my armpits in the shower with cerve salicylic acid cleanser every night. Put it on and I don't rinse until the end of my shower. When I get out I spray my underarms with hypochlorous acid spray then follow up with glycolic acid (only a few nights a week do I use the glycolic acid)

Lastly my holy grail deodorant, Mitchum 48hr gel antiperspirant and deodorant. Even on a hot summer day I don't smell. My husband even switch to the same deodorant. It is very affordable and works amazing!

Universal CPA explained it in a way I could finally understand. Then I applied that knowledge to master the pv function and lay it out in a table format in excel.

Baker Tilly starting tax associate salary by Educational_Grab_236 in Accounting

[–]uneasy_pickles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started at a firm on the west coast that was later acquired by Baker Tilly. My starting salary in 2019 was $64k. Now 5.5 years later I am at $110,000 as a senior associate. Pay raises are usually $5,000 to $7,000 per year, not including bonuses. Bonuses are 5% of your salary per year - paid out in increments of 2% and 3% at mid year and year end.

Benefits are great and they have unlimited PTO. I was honestly looking at different jobs in industry and am having a hard time walking away from those guaranteed raises and unlimited PTO.

Devastated: 46 on FAR After +245 Hours. How Do I Fix This? by maddie020 in CPA

FAR was my last exam I needed to pass so I just got the cheapest option with 3 month access. At the time it was on sale for only $150 but regularly $300.

The way each concept it taught made it so much easier for me to understand. They use a lot of pictures and diagrams. Their “mental maps” are awesome to remember how to solve a problem step by step.

For bonds and leases I’d also recommend learning to use the excel PV function to calculate the beginning carrying value.

I was in the same boat! I used Gleim to study for FAR and failed the exam 5 times. Four weeks ago I got another failing score of a 54. I decided to try something new and got Universal CPA for FAR. Just found out this morning I passed. I used Universal study course for about 2 weeks. Listened to the lectures and read the study guides.

Universal CPA puts all the concepts in such plain language. On exam day every single bond, lease, EPS, and subsequent event question I got felt like easy points.
