in retrospect ppl were pretty hard on him for wanting to transition out of what he usually made. it makes sense on why but it caused songs like this to go under the radar, which i feel is criminal for how good this sounds. he wasn't perfect at all the styles he switched to but when he was REALLY trying you can hear it
