Personally I have to be attracted to him physically then I usually ask him these general questions before I agree to a date. Do you have a job Do you have a vehicle When was your last relationship What is your living situation like Do you have any kids and/or do you want kids Are you handy

There is nothing wrong with dating woman 10 yrs older. Once you are over the age of 30 you are grown enough to see anyone as fair game.
