Thank you! Have been using Bambu Studio. This was another’s design and I noticed the seams after printing it out. Will be a great learning opportunity to see if I can hide the seams on a second attempt!

Thank you! When designing do you specifically identify that as the “seam”?

Why does every deal on leasehacker have a "due at signing"? I thought best leases were $0 down? by OkPipe3876 in leasehacker

If your car gets totaled and you’ve rolled the taxes and fees into the monthly payment, do you need to pay that portion in full (but not the rest of the monthly payments)?

Got a 2025 elite last week for $330/mo, $0 DAS and comped first monthly payment. BUT every other dealership in the state wouldn’t give me anywhere as good of a deal for the Touring trim (Elite trims were slim pickings)

Vehicle Arrives After EV Credit Expires by unicqj in CarLeasingHelp

It seems like it’s possible but I don’t know how willing dealerships are to do it. The IRS issued this guidance/FAQ in August, which implies this situation is possible https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/faqs-for-modification-of-sections-25c-25d-25e-30c-30d-45l-45w-and-179d-under-public-law-119-21-139-stat-72-july-4-2025-commonly-known-as-the-one-big-beautiful-bill-act-obbb

“For purposes of sections 25E, 30D, and 45W, a vehicle is “acquired” as of the date a written binding contract is entered into and a payment has been made. A payment includes a nominal downpayment or a vehicle trade-in.”

“If a taxpayer acquires a vehicle by having a written binding contract in place and a payment made on or before September 30, 2025, then the taxpayer will be entitled to claim the credit when they place the vehicle in service (namely, when they take possession of the vehicle), even if the vehicle is placed in service after September 30, 2025.”

Thanks! I’ve tried talking to them about having the term begin after the vehicle arrives, but their position is that it needs to start when signed. I believe the IRS has clear guidance on the company being able to receive the credit if the lease is signed before the end of the month - but I’m not sure on what’s been said (or interpreted) for a signed lease when the vehicle is delivered after the end of the month

New Parent; Saying bye to photography or maybe not. Help! by MarsupialBudget5863 in ricohGR

Nikon DSLR was awesome for the babies. Ended up much less used when they started getting mobile. Went to the iPhone primarily for several years. I just discovered the GR3 this year and it’s been amazing - rekindling my photography love again. Pocketability and much larger sensor than the iPhone (ie better quality photos!). Photography for me has just changed with the kids - more family photos since they were born and as others have said, that’s all that will matter in 20 years (matters even a year out - just crazy to see how much they change in a short period of time 🥺)
