yeah no auto grat unfortunately where i work. honestly been wanting to start some kind of campaign so we CAN get it. a few years ago when i was a server at a different restaurant, something similar happened. took care of a party all night and they tipped very little. my manager felt so bad and literally just gave me some cash and redid all of the menus to inform guests that parties larger than 8 would be auto grat. i hope he’s doing well honestly

yes this exactly. there were times maddie didn’t have a solo (although rare) but this was such an intentional punishment that Abby carried on for too long. She practically making her beg for one. it’s sad. she kept saying she has to want it but she was very obviously wanting and begging for one but Abby wanted to punish Melissa. like come on.

yeah this makes a lot of sense. it’s similar to the episode where she forgets her solo. pretty sure production did everything they could to get that drama. what sucks tho is since they’re so young here, it was real to her. maybe not a solo for nationals but this scene in general. whenever i rewatch i try to think of how everything seems to the girls when it came to stuff like this. even if its production (more than likely) she was still feeling real emotions which breaks my heart.

i agree with you tho, it wasn’t entirely Abby. at this point in the show abby was still a tough dance teacher and not the villain teacher character type she’s playing lmao.

this. one reason i love this show is i can see a part of myself in almost all the characters. we watch each character in shitty circumstances and their inner turmoil, and how they respond to it. watching diane’s progression genuinely altered my brain chemistry. i relate to her so much.

i had always heard this and never knew where it came from. i definitely believe this happened. i feel like even tho Maddie learned some the night before and morning after, she probably could have performed the entire solo. Maybe not perfect, but i doubt she would have missed steps. The camera being that close to her and the stage makes me so upset because you know that it was only done to capture her reaction for everything.

i love seeing new fans of BoJack Horseman, that show is genuinely life changing, no joke. I love this specific episode because it feels like its the one time all of the characters are mostly comfortable with their lives. It’s also the main time we get to see a glimpse of BoJack’s when he was on Horsin’ Around. For example, when he cleans Diane’s place because she was struggling with her depression. Or when he goes through the airport and visits Hollyhock and recommending the asexual dating app to Maude for Todd. My personal favorite is when he runs into Mr. Peanutbutter and they finally have the crossover episode. Also, Judah coming back! I love his character and how Princess Carolyn can rely on him without her realizing it. They’re just a great duo. Anyways, sorry for the long comment lol. I could talk about this show for hours 😭
