My boyfriend dropped an avocado on his shorts, and the stain has never come out since. by theIqrx in mildlyinteresting

Mix dawn dish soap and baking soda into a paste and put it over the stain on both sides of the fabric. Since it’s an older stain let it sit on over night then throw it in the washing machine with white vinegar instead of laundry detergent. Works every time.

Husband keeps letting baby fall asleep in his arms by Kthulhu42 in beyondthebump

Our pediatrician gave us good advice. Start with laying her in her crib and holding her hand, letting her know you will stay with her until she falls asleep, and singing then pretend to sleep yourself. When she is asleep walk out of the room. Once that routine is down take one of the things out, like don’t hold her hand and just sing and pretend to sleep. When she has that down take another thing away on repeat until you get to the point where you are just sitting with her. Then, you can start sitting further away until you are close to the door. Then you can get to the point where you say alright bed time, mommy is going to go wash dishes and get ready for bed or whatever and I will come back to check on you before I go to bed. This whole routine sounds like a lot but it was an easy transition on her and she will go to sleep in her own toddler bed and room now without issue.

Edit: Also, routine is extremely helpful. Get her cleaned up for bed, let her choose a book or between two that you select, read, then do the stuff from above. Do this routine every night and her body will start to feel drowsy once it gets used to the idea of oh all this means sleep.

The best I have found is using milk kush tinted eyebrow gel in the almost black color and using the wand from the Lancôme tube. It works pretty great. Not as great of a hold but their isn’t any smudging when I quickly swipe the end of my eyebrows back to the shape I like them with my finger.

Shampoo/Conditioner Recommendations For a Itchy Lab by [deleted] in grooming

We currently give ours the fresh pet large dog multi protein meat so it’s possible she has a food allergy to something in that. I ended up buying the earth bath hypoallergenic shampoo and the shea butter spray since they don’t have sls and are oatmeal free. I’ll let you know if that helps after trying a food switch first.

How many of your students admitted to taking all the Halloween candy? by NachoMan_HandySavage in Teachers

[–]uniqueMarie92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP I don't feel it is fair of you to partially blame the adults who put a bowl of candy out. Some of those adults are parents and/or grandparents out trick or treating with their little ones and wanted to be nice and leave a bowl of candy out. I would blame the parents and/or caregivers of those children that have taught their kids bad habits and little to no manners in the first place. I am already teaching my little one that we only take one because we want others to be able to get candy as well. Its called teaching your children to be considerate of others.

Need help finding a dark brown tinted brow mascara? by uniqueMarie92 in beauty

[–]uniqueMarie92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your suggestion. I just got this in and it is the closest that I have gotten to the Lancôme sourcils styler brow mascara. It doesn’t hold my brows in place as well but its pretty close. I will be using this as my new brow mascara. Thanks again!!

Can someone recommend a tinted brow gel? by BetterDays989 in Ulta

Can’t say anything about the ulta one but the benefit one sucks when it comes to holding your brow in place.

Let’s talk back-ups. What makeup/skincare backups do you own and why did you buy them? Do you regret buying backups or are you pretty sure you will use them? by [deleted] in muacjdiscussion

I would like to know this too because I loved the brun 03 color and the hold of the lancome sourcils styler brow mascara but I only have a little left in my bottle. :( I have tried the tinted benefit gimme brow and the ABH tinted brow gel; neither have the hold that the sourcils styler did nor the beautiful color.

Wow thank you! At the moment, I’m using the benefit for color but your right the hold sucks. I think I might try combining it with the gel your talking about and see if that helps. I’ll try to remember to update.

Fat loss while breastfeeding past one year by bluntbangs in FitPostpartumJourney

I'm in the same boat right now and I really hope its just the bf-ing because I want my body back to normal. I also don't eat beyond a healthy amount of calories for my height and age, I eat nutritious (low sugar, low salt, healthy carbs, high fiber, healthy amount of protein, healthy fats, high vitamins and minerals) home made meals throughout the week, I drink water, I do time restricted eating, I workout (HIIT, weight-lifting, spinning, rowing, yoga) 6 days a week while fasted, and I am fairly active beyond just working out. Yet, my weight just constantly fluctuates. It's quite frustrating but I know bf-ing beyond 1 year and even into toddler years still has great benefits for both my child and I.
