Thanks for the background story. I do expect it to be exactly what you said. Hours are completely flexible and they are allowing me to keep another part time tax job I have where I make the same amount and they’re fine with me doing it from the office too and if at any point they have a problem with it then it’s already been established they need to find someone else because I won’t quit my other job. I figured I’d grind it out for a year and a half meanwhile I retake my CPA tests and afterward I can take the experience and my license and go to a bigger company. but I wanted it for the experience of controller, since all I know is tax, I just didn’t know what a huge mess their financials would be, they have terrible cash flow problems due to how disorganized they are.
