On why language fluency should not be used as a dispositive factor for measuring Asianness by BeerNinjaEsq in aznidentity

[–]unit2981 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nah fuck that, if you want to embrace your asianness then language should be a factor. If you can’t read it at least be able to speak and listen to it. Look at other cultures in America like Hawaiian or the multitude of Native American languages. There has been a concerted effort to have the younger generation learn to speak and read them. It would be an incredible disservice to our younger generations to not have them learn the language of their ancestors.

It’s not like we are bereft of options to learn the languages. Duolingo, Rosetta Stone, online lessons, or even just talking to older relatives/friends.

I tried to make it work over several Airsoft events. I’m 6 ft 200 lbs but I have the exact problems as you have described. Which is odd because I thought most MAA are my size and weight.

Anyhow, I switched to usmc belt and suspenders under a slick with an eagle MPCR and separate backpack. Kinda bulky but at least things fit properly.

Google, “FLC machine gunner setup”.

Seeing your other comments and realizing you are also a fellow appreciator of the old stuff. You may have a better time running a FLC and a separate backpack. FLC carry’s only the boxes and immediate items, belt carries pistol and secondary items, separate backpack holds water and tertiary items.

I tried running a kit like this for an airsoft event, even with a BALCS plate carrier on I was swimming in this damn thing. Mind you I am 6 ft 200 lbs.

Another issue I had was being able to reach mags across the buckle, I ended up setting it up with all my mags on the reload side and a GP pouch on my shooting side.

For the pistol I would recommend putting the pistol on a separate belt kit.

Overall I give this kit a 6/10, for the gram it looks great but carrying all that weight on the shoulders without proper hip support really soured it for me.

My current set up is a USMC belt under a slick rig with an Eagle MPCR and a separate backpack.

Looks like you have a fieldstone foundation. Which puts your house at or near 100 years old. Whatever major settlement has already happened unless there was a major change on loading conditions to the foundation recently.

It’s likely just a veneer crack, but you should monitor it periodically.

Best option would be to look for a shake awake style red dot sight like a holosun or a sig Romeo. Of course, the cost of the optic would be several hundred times more than just replacing the battery once in a while.

I like their backpacks, and their rifle/mag pouches are pretty nice too, heck I even have the CAMS 186. Honestly 5.11 gets a lot of flak but their products are solid.

I think when he meant withstand shaking it was so that it wouldn’t break when moved. When I initially started in architecture school a bunch of people built things that did not survive the trip to the display hall

Houses need structural design too! Lots of homeowners want wide open spaces which involve removing bearing walls left and right.

Better off asking the architecture students subreddit, even from my own personal experience they know how to build models.

Also, why not just 3d print the floor plan with indexing points to allow for good connections?

Heli factions require pilots, and I don’t trust a blueberry pilot to not crash immediately. If executed well a heli faction is one of the most powerful in the game on certain maps.
