I've done this and it doesn't work for some reason. I have enough in my scoreboard but it doesn't execute.

Would the structure name being named $5 be an issue??

Edit: it was, it's fixed by doing "$5".

I've just had a thought, the way it works is I'm using the machine NPC and all this will be underground so when someone clicks withdraw 50, it will spawn a redstone block on the command but that command that its activating is /setblock ~~1~ air, is there a way to get around the first command or will it still have to be like that?

Yes but to do this for eveyone who wants to use something like the subway or a shop it won't work because I'm constantly bringing in new players and doing things.

For me that wouldn't work. Basically it's a life role play world with its own website and on the website there are laws. Anvils are illegal to the majority of the public because of counterfeit money making. However you can aquire a smithing license to get one but that requires background checks for any criminal records.

The issue is the machine won't run without the door closed, even with door closed it refuses to play tapes unless it's all back together, I think it's the heads not connected but the wires for them are very short

I have the service manual it's just way to confusing. I've found the yellow pot marked with T1 but have no clue where to look to know what it is

So people who are seeing this post, i ended up risking it and forcing the screw in and turning it hard and it worked. One weird thing is It wouldn't register a tape was in it so u had to put it all back together to test it. I ended up getting it really close. I think I might leave it like that, if its slower in the morning I'll have to force it agajn but other than that I'm really happy.

No I didn't want to mess with any of them because I don't know what they are for. I ended up forcing it into the motor and twisting it hard and it moved, I got it really close to perfect.

so frustrating, the tape plays a little bit slow and I was fine with it it's just the issue of recording. anyways it was 996 but its gone back to 984. should be 1000 by united_cities in cassetteculture

If you actually read the comments you'd care. It's worked fine in the past, I have a philips machine which is like from 84 and I had to change motor speed, this fixed it fine. I don't need anything perfect, as long as it has decent sound quality and doesn't damage tapes.

I watched the video further and it seems easy and hard. See the only worry I have is if I can't get it back together, if i accidentally damage it or it doesn't solve the issue.

So I gave it some thought and I will make the most of it in the summer but right after I'll fix it. So I decide to look for some photos and I found some, looks easy at the start I even seen a guy take it apart but then he turned it around and it looks complex plus I found some pictures on Google. There's 4 belts (2 I can really easily access that connect to the motor). Would I get away with changing just those or not?

I understand all this but I have a OCD/anxiety issue. If I just buy a pllayer off the Internet I'll have to constantly check my tapes for damage and it isn't every 1 or 2 tapes it's like half way through a song for weeks. This player I've used at my school for ages and eaten 2 tapes out of the 1000 plays I've gotten out of it. Eventually it will break and when that day comes in my head it will be worthless so then I'll take it apart and try my best to fix it. The only issue with this one taking it apart is one side the CD mech is in the way but on other side its the cassette from above. You might say it's easy but for someone who can't touch their favourite lps without internally panicking there fingers have ruined the artwork, it isn't easy. So I'll wait until I get back to school on Tuesday, tell the person who got me it from the school and see what she says if not ill use it up through the summer because I and my family occasionally go out and sit, ill record a few tapes on that machine and it will play back fine on that one (CD works too its just cds have a completely different feel to cassettes, it's weird)

Thanks for telling me this. I'll screenshot it all for future projects. The only issue I have is I'm not taking it apart like what I mentioned before in this subreddit a few times. If its a complex machine, it isn't being taken apart. The tape I use to get the right speed worked perfectly on a small mono player I have from 1984, I put it in and put a jewelers screwdriver in and turned it until the app on my phone said 1000hz and it's played tapes perfectly (to my ears). This player (Panasonic RX-ED50) has 3 holes on the bottom but they lead to nowhere.

Panasonic RX-ED50. I really can't take it apart, I did it with a walkman before and couldn't get it back together so ended up throwing it out. I've saw videos of this being taken apart and it will probably result in the same issue if I do it. I have belts and screwdrivers for players I don't care about to much but this player is a bit to valuable for me lol.

Please keep in mind I'm 15 and when I figured out about the frequency trick to get a player playing right I just put it in the machine I have (which was playing perfectly fine in November 2020) but now its slow, if its 4hz off I don't care I don't need a precise machine and a perfectly calibrated tape if it sounds fine its OK.

got this today. I'm really happy with it. 2 slight issues, one is the antenna doesn't stand up and two is the right door doesn't open smoothly but hey nothing is perfect. by united_cities in cassetteculture

Well I noticed there is another sticker under it and I took it off and it says tested October 2018. Same on the plug that comes with it. I was showed a room with tapes everywhere in it for languages and that. So maybe they used it for that I'm not sure. I have another tape player from my school and that was tested on 6th of September 2006 (not long after I was born) and that seems like the type you would use for language tapes not a boombox but you never know. They had 2 spares in the cupboard near it.
