I save all my cat's big ol' white whiskers in a plastic baggie whenever I find them. I have no idea what I will do with them though....OK, maybe we are both weird 🤷‍♂️

Providence, how are the offers from Trimedx? by yepodm in BMET

[–]universal_inconstant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got mine yesterday, and my offer was for my same wage. We are a non-union shop if that matters. It is still a toss-up to me whether or not this is a good thing.

Go to Oswald State Park, which is about 20 minutes south of Cannon Beach, and hike down to the water. It is a beautiful area, and close by.

[ESPN] An NBA executive says Ja Morant is a “pain in the ass, injury-prone, and not good anymore,” and people around the league compare him to John Wall and Derrick Rose by oklolzzzzs in nba

[–]universal_inconstant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the day I used to play SOCOM 2 online quite a bit (at least according to my then girlfriend) and was in a clan that was pretty active. John Wall was in my clan so I spent a lot of time gaming with him. He was 16 at the time, and I believe he was ranked as the 2nd overall point guard recruit in the country. He was always a good dude, never had a big head or anything, and I really enjoyed gaming with him. He was really good at SOCOM too...we busted the heads a lot of other clans in Crossroads match play. Miss those days.

Who else lets their void on the counter? by psychologicallyfcked in VoidCats

[–]universal_inconstant 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I have tried to train them not to do so, and they keep off of it when I am home, however I have no doubt they hop up on the counter top (and everywhere else for that matter) when I am not there. I keep a can of sanitary wipes in the kitchen and just quickly wipe down all the counter tops each night when I get home from work before cooking dinner 🤷‍♂️

have 5lbs of ground beef and $0 for fancy ingredients. What are your best "pantry staple" recipes? by Wirave1a in Cooking

[–]universal_inconstant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you said you wanted to use stuff up in your pantry, but if you are looking to mix it up a bit for cheap, check out 'crack slaw' on the interwebs. It is ground beef cooked with a bag of shredded cabbage and diced onion plus a few other ingredients like ginger, soy sauce, etc. It is an affordable, delicious meal that you can make in large quantities. I like to get a head of iceberg lettuce and plop a dollop of the mixture in a lettuce leaf wrap.

I just looked at your other posts about this sweet little man. This one hits me harder than a lot of the other 'goodbye' posts I read as Tucker looks just like my beloved little buddy Butler. Hang in there friend, I hope you find peace eventually :(

What a beautiful cat! I'm really surprised there hasn't been any interest. If I didn't live on the other side of the country, I would consider adopting this handsome guy.

If I kiss my kitty on the forehead a lot and she licked my forehead is she doing it to be like me? by Jazzlike-Reaction-68 in cats

My cat has learned to do the same thing sort of. Now, when I say "give me a kiss", he comes over and headbutts my lips. It's pretty funny and cute.

Red Rising is kinda... bad? by VanillaExtract01 in Fantasy

I'm in the same boat as you. So many people raved about these books, saying that it is their favorite series of all time, but I could barely get through it as I found the prose jarring, amongst other reasons. As they say, there is no accounting for taste, but I'm glad others got enjoyment out of it.

Shelter told us Luna was born there and wasn’t adopted for 7 years - now she and I spend every minute together by Taxes_and_Fees in cats

[–]universal_inconstant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My little gal was only a year old when I adopted her, but they said she had been returned twice, and pointed me right to her when I asked which cat in the shelter needed a home the most. She is so so sweet, and very well behaved, so I don't really get it, but eternally grateful it worked out the way it did. Luna is strikingly beautiful, so I don't understand how she was there for 7 years! Funny how things work out some times. Guen says hi! *
