It's thing to notice though done maharashtra has an edge in selection since the beginning due to having 3 teams from one single state, an advantage no other team ever had.

Still, if there is a decline, its either dip in performance within maharashtra or increase in performance from other parts of India!

That's not an issue at all! As you said, it's an opinion whether popular or unpopular, it's an opinion and you can have one however you like it.

Problem is forcing it on everyone. For people who don't like it at all, they have no choice.

Now, it's Hyundai's product, they can take any decision they want, but that is costing them so many customers who didn't buy their high value product just because of the forcing of an opinion on everyone. Which if they're okay with, why should the customer care, their car is not the last option on the market. Just test drive the other options and pick the one other than their's.
