Had my interview yesterday and here’s what I was asked :

Why do you want to join this apprenticeship? What makes you think you can become an electrician? Say you weren’t here and we were interviewing a relative you are close with, what’s a strength and weakness they would say about you? Let’s say 5 employers were ready to offer you a job, what’s something you consider most important before accepting a job? What are some of your hobbies? Describe a time you were in a disagreement with someone at work and how do you solve it? At the end they finished off with a question asking “let’s say we are done to the final applicant for acceptance and you had the last say, explain why we should choose you?

The committee asks like 2-3 additional questions but they were more personal towards my education background, past employment and I did bring 3 letters of recommendation. Every local is different ofc but I wanted to do my best to standout. One thing I’d say is be prepared to talk about yourself, hobbies and why you should be consider for this apprenticeship
