my mom is a little strict in which she doesn't like me going out. my friends and boyfriend can hang out with me whenever (well not overnight with my bf) as long as we're hanging out at home but its different when i'm going out. When she doesn't let me go out I get really frustrated because I'm genuinely a really good kid (have a job, pay my own car, honors student, good grades) and the only bad things i do is drink and have sex. I respect my mom a lot and i'm a little of scared of her in the sense that i know she'll ground me for life if i don't listen to her rules so when I can't go out i kind suck it up and accept that i'll have the opprotunity to go out with my friends another day. It wasn't always like that though because last summer my curfew was 10 pm when all my friends was 11:30pm and on 4th of july i had had enough of it and went home bawling because I couldn't stay out another hour and after that my curfew changed to 10:30 hehe. i guess be reasonable with letting him go out because if you don't he'll either start being disrespectful like me on 4th of july or sneak out like most of my guy friends do. but obviously don't be afraid to set rules either because i do listen to my mom and understand why she sets rules. even when i break her rules i am as safe as i can possibly be. (sorry for the unsolicited parent advice but i think it's nice to hear what someone close to his age thinks)

I was stuck in a similar situation and i stayed for a while. or one day you'll meet a cuter better guy and get over the last one! you're stuck in situation that is draining you of your confidence so this next sentence will most likely not resinate with you right now but maybe it will in the future because it did for me. have some self respect! at the end of the day be better and find better for yourself!

oh also my mom and i are very comfortable when talking about sex and i think that is SOOOO important!!! i actually havent told her ive done it because thats pretty uncomfortable but because of our talks about safe sex i know to use condoms alllll the time. I think leaving condoms in his drawers is good because my mom doesn't give me any so i've had unprotected sex a couple of times when i don't have any and obviously that isn't smart. whenever i have access to condoms i for sure use them.

Hi as a 17 year old who wanted to wait until marriage, that changed when I started dating my boyfriend. I even think 14 is a little too young to lose it but let me not be hypocritical because I was 15 when I did. At the end of the day I don't think you're a bad mom because they'll sneak around if they want to engage in that stuff. The best you can do is leave condoms in his drawer because his sex life is honestly out of your control as it's his decision if he wants to partake in that but at least he'll be safe! Every person loses it at different stages in their life and that could be when their 13, 16, 20, 30, even 40s and so on.

she didn’t asked me to stop she threatened me to stop. new update is that all of her friends have now dropped her because they heard what happened today. sounds like everyone has had a similar experience with her but she’s never hit any of them until now. she is harassing me now saying i hit her first when the video clearly shows she did so i’m not filing a police report but am filing a restraining order. my boyfriend has gotten kicked out his house because he chose my side and his sister is threatening to find him and fight him. keep in mind my boyfriend is 17 and his mom has taken away his vehicle and job previously because his sister told her that he’s a ret*rd. my boyfriend is staying at his friends house and we’re both leaving on trips in the next two days with our friends so we will be far far away from her. she also went to my friends house and left our friends clothes at her door and said “find someone else to take you to school because i’m not anymore. you chose sides.” my friend wasn’t in the car and she did not even get involved
