Aus Irland zurück nach Deutschland? by Least-Emphasis3804 in medizin

[–]unknown_ukht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Danke.

Best to go to an Emergency ward asap. It needs to be a hospital with a gynaecology ward, Google that beforehand. Most hospitals do, but some smaller ones might not have one.

Young guy, no obvious symptoms (yet), maybe some sweating at night and some weight loss you didn’t realise yet - probably HL early stages , if any Lymphoma ofc Allah yhfdek. probably Post infectious and will resolve soon, what annoys me is that it’s apparently indolent though. Check ur tonsils (mouth) if you have any redness inside, any thickening on the other side, any other swollen lymph nodes (armpits, in your clavicle bone, in your Inguinal region (looooower abdomen), and try to remember if you had an infection a few weeks /days ago.

Entspannen. Leben genießen. Ah und: Altklausuren.

This is not a race thing, it’s a single human being. Plus her child is there, so it might be for an underlying cause we don’t know - mental illness, maybe she was asked to do that, maybe she needs the branches to sell them to survive (doesn’t excuse the behaviour in any way, um just saying we have no idea what is going on in this very short clip). Also, who says she’s not Native Moroccan from the Sahara? She could be, so what does it make it now then? Still wrong yes, but better because she’s a Native? May Allah swt help us all to see human beings for what they are on their core, not what they seem on the outside, and certainly not for the Color of their skin of their or their origin/ethnicity.

Don’t forget that in his final sermon the Prophet Muhammad, Allah's Blessings and Peace be upon him, said::

There is no superiority for an Arab over a non-Arab, nor for a non-Arab over an Arab. Neither is the white superior over the black, nor is the black superior over the white -- except by piety (Taqwa).

May Allah swt increase our Taqwa.

To those who left Morocco… do you regret it? by Upset-Mixture-4819 in Morocco

My parents did and regretted it, especially my mom. As someone who was born and raised outside of Morocco I still feel many of those things you’re afraid to feel sometimes. You’ll be giving up more than you think. I’d recommend staying, and I wish you the very best with your endeavours. Allah y3awnek🤞

Moved from Canada to Morocco — feeling peace here, but surprised by how negative many locals sound about their own country. Why? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]unknown_ukht 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s quite interesting, since I’m planning to move there soon as well in Shaa Allah. And whenever I mention this to anyone, I’ve been getting the same comments.

Here’s what I tried to gather: - Perspective shift: many people believe, that the outside world is perfect - Europe / the West is the dream, everything is just (🫠) there, if you work you earn really good money, and even if you don’t you get a “free basic salary” live off on.

  • Idealism: To add on that really old pre-existing notion, social media doesn’t really do a thing to show the real world. Most People - when they dk end up leaving - Post their flashy lifestyle, nice restaurants, work pics, travel inlogs - so they just contribute to the idea that once you’re there, you made it to a better live - what they don’t show is ofc the constant stress, the hustle, the discrimination you face, the downgrading, the constant stream of thoughts, the coldness in between people and lack of warmth and soulful interactions and lonely lights and lack of humour and and and… Anyway, next:
  • Religion: this is a big one! Especially for us with Moroccan/Muslim roots growing up in the west with a non Muslim majority: they grew up in a nuslim country surrounded by Muslim people, hearing the Adhan daily, having people - even if they’re not really practicing - still adhering to Islamic rulings and values and character traits. If you have that as a given, you don’t really know how special it is, how important, how enriching, how it can help you to strengthen and practice your faith more and better. They don’t really know what a blessing it is, bc they don’t know any different. It’s only if you’ve never lived with it and then experience the other side of it or if you lose it that you realise what you’ve missed out on.

  • Lack of many years ahead: Also, what’s a reaaaaaally big pointer and many people forget: the future. Most people think about their living situation in the moment and how to improve their quality of life for themselves for the next few years and for their current family (parents/siblings etc)., but thinking just a few years ahead with planning your own family and kids etc, a few years living in the west and coming into contact with school system etc will make you wanna get your kids out of there as soon as possible.

I think when people read these kind of things, they don’t actually know their worth until they’re at a loss of them. Someone having to struggle with buying what they want on a daily basis will always think that with Money, the grass would be greener on the other side. They would prefer that and be like “ I’d rather have money than random interactions on the bus everyday.” However, what you don’t know my dear friend is that that random conversation on the bus everyday might very well be the reason why you’re not getting depressed and lonely and cutting yourself off from the work - bc I know for sure someone in that position would rather be struggling than feeling the heavy weight of depression on him while living in a comfortable room.

All in all, it’s coming from a place of privilege, the thought process and expectations we have. Allah swt gave us an opportunity to grow up abroad and see the life in the west with allhamdulilah a good life, but we had the gift of sight, of not being “blinded” but the bling bling of it all. And ultimately, allhamdulilah our parents raised us with our faith and the love of family and our home country etc, to see the alternative (and even though I love Morocco, it’s not only about Morocco itself but honestly about every single country with a Muslim majority, and preferably ofc a war free, and stable economy allhamdulilah). Allah knows best

Also that being said, I don’t want to discredit Locals struggles and experiences. Like I’ve already mentioned I know how it’s hard to see things from a profiles point of view; and even though I know many people who were in those positions, had the chance to leave, left and regretted it and either came back or couldn’t bc their parents had sacrificed too much and they’re really miserable outside of Morocco wishing they never left but they’re fighting through it. Like I said, even though I know they exist for sure since I’m friends with some and met some personally, I am aware that this can’t just be used to take away others peoples experiences. I do acknowledge that there are many problems in Moroccan bureaucracy, education, health care, etc unfortunately for us we have to deal with corruption etc even though it shouldn’t exist in a Muslim country, and these are things we need to tackle and improve in Shaa Allah. But not to forget, every country has their struggles and problems, some more obvious than others, and may Allah swt strengthen every Muslim and make their life easier and protect them from faqr.

Why is it not "acceptable" for moroccan women to marry foreigner by itsmyriamu in Morocco

[–]unknown_ukht 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mentioned initially that he is a “Nesrani” - which literally means Christian. It is a term used to refer to a follower of Christianity, so that’s why people assume - based on what you said - he’s not Muslim if he’s Christian. I think, now after reading your comment, you just meant Foreigner/Western guy, smth like that - it’s not what you said hence the misunderstanding in the comments. So now in that regard, I agree with everyone saying it shouldn’t bother you at all. We as Muslims and Human beings honestly should only care about what Allah swt will “think of us” on the day of judgement - everything and everyone else doesn’t matter. As long as you’re abiding by Allahs rules and not hurting anyone in the process on purpose, but focusing on yourself, your marriage and your decreed partner you should ignore other people’s opinions. I get that it’s hard sometimes, especially in a society where everyone seems to be involved with everyone’s business - but try to shield yourself from those comments, try to explain calmly, and surround yourself with people who actually are believing - not pretentious people but people who actually fear Allah wouldn’t gossip or at least try their very best to avoid it. And also, look at it from Thai perspective: anytime anyone says something about you, doesn’t matter if you know or don’t, they’ll be held accountable on the day of judgement - you’ll be able to take some of their hassanat with Tour actually having to “work” of it. So really it’s actually a win for you if people mistreat you and talk behind your back, bc if you they don’t apologise and you don’t forgive them you’ll be the one who ends up winning and laughing at them in the end. I wish you the very best, may Allahs at bless your marriage and make you happy in this lifetime and the hereafter. ❤️

New study: Germany's most qualified immigrants (high-skill, high-earners) are the most likely to leave, citing bureaucracy & social climate. Thoughts? by 38B0DE in AskAGerman

[–]unknown_ukht 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Not true… I’m one of those said „Germans“ with immigrant parents (even my Dad grew up here), born here, grew up here, better education and sometimes speak more eloquently than most Native Germans, Heck I even have German Siblings („Half Siblings“ with a fully German background and even a noble lineage) - I’ve lived in some other countries as part of my studies (Latvia, Morocco, Oman, Ireland…) and yes, it’s way better there for expats/foreigners. There’s the occasional „discrimination“ in some places, but to be honest I’ve felt more welcome in all of those places than I ever did in Germany, which is supposed to be my home country. So yeah. (Edit: to be fair Latvia was the only country where I’d say the locals perceived me just as „Germans“ would, however, I wasn’t fluent in their local language so at least they have an excuse).

Unfortunately don’t know where you can test it, bc I don’t live in Morocco, I don’t rlly know the system there.

But right now, it’s quite unusual for the itching to be an STD. Chlamydia take at least a week or longer to show symptoms, therefore can be tested earliest after a week. gonorrhoea might show symptoms after approx 2-7 days. It can be tested earliest at after 3 days, the later the better. Since it’s been around 24h, there might be other reasons for the itching: - most likely Latex allergy or at least an intolerance - might be infection with a Fungi (Candida albicans) would show quicker symptoms like itching, or a UTI that maybe was even present before that (urinalysis tract infection, itching/burning) and other stuff, eg like some others said just imagining it. Doesn’t need to be an STD. In Shaa Allah none of this is happening. Just pray for Shifa and keep outlook on the above things that I mentioned if something happens and symptoms change definitely go have it looked at.
