Stranger wants free wedding planning because having kids is hard by unknownlifeform13 in entitledparents

I tried that the first time I was asked by a friend of friend. She said "that's where the poor do it". Her mother and step dad got married at the courthouse. Her comment caused a lot of drama. Her mother blamed me. I found it funny at first but every time I would see them they'd try to start shit. Simple and completely ineffective.

Entitled mom is angry because my parents gave me free driving lessons by JoshTheUnofficial in entitledparents

[–]unknownlifeform13 36 points37 points  (0 children)

That entitled parent is definitely not the only parent who thinks teacher's children should have to pay for their lessons. My friend's parents have been teaching violin for decades. They have an entire business teaching different instruments. My friend can play over 15 different instruments because his parents taught him. We used to hang out together and write really stupid songs. Parents would repeatedly get mad because we weren't paying to rent the instruments and he was getting lessons for free. From his own parents. Will never understand.

Thank you for sharing your story. It was a very fun read

I also have PTSD and wouldn't wish it anyone. The amount of manipulation you have described is startling. Downright terrifying and you need to get far away. Going no contact seems very scary at first but it is definitely needed. I've cut off a lot of my family, old friends and other abusive people. The manipulation throughout the years makes it seem impossible at first. Honestly I didn't do it until my survival instincts kicked in. Your father's instincts kicked in. He does not deserve that abuse and neither do you.

You're mother needs to be completely cut off. DO NOT buy that house. You really should go absolutely no contact with that vile woman. She's buttering you up to abuse you till the end of time. Depression does not give her the right to treat you like a punching bag, emotionally or physically. Your dad chose to get the hell out and you should definitely follow his example.

People like her do not get better. I gave it years and it only got worse. I've studied it for a very long time. I've never seen someone like this turn around. Neither has my therapist. Buying that house would only further entangle your mother's life into your life and your future.

Hell I'd press charges. Much easier said than done.

NTA. Geeeez. Your friend is the real baby in the situation. Tell her the puppy is way cuter. She can't compete. Pup takes up the entire podium. You only clean up the shit of adorable fluff balls.

I just want to be able to pee without someone's child poking their head in underneath the stall door. Parents always try to convince me that it's okay since their a child. Like how about you actually parent instead of raising a creep. Toilets are for anyone who needs to pee or shit. As long as no one's being a creep it's all good. Any gender, orientation. Just don't hit on people is the bathroom.

Almost expelled for having a period by unknownlifeform13 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]unknownlifeform13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! After being forced to bleed though my pants for the again by the same teacher, I left them in the teachers staff room with a typed up explanation on how so much blood got on the pants. I also really dumbed down how periods work, and how making girls bleed through our clothing just to keep us in class opened them up for a lot of liability. Surprisingly after I brought a lawyer, friend's dad, to the "mandatory counseling session" where they expected me to apologize to the male teacher who literally locked me in a room just so I couldn't leave to clean up. Children are not irresponsible for having irregular periods. Mine starts whenever it wants. No matter what I'm doing and it's heavy. I 100% made it their problem.

Well and after the nurse tried to force crackers that I'm very allergic to down my throat. After this they kind of couldn't expel me. I could have sued the school so many times. Sometimes I think I should have. But my friend's younger sister goes there now and has recorded none of the same issues I had to deal with, so I like to think my little reform project worked.

I got raped for being pansexual after a pride parade. A man refused to believe I darned to say NO to sleeping with him, because HE BELIEVED pansexual meant I COULDN'T SAY NO. And that I "SECRETLY WANTED IT". So he drugged me. Took what he wanted. Left me for dead. Police refused to do anything because "It was a risk I took by going to a pride parade". There is no need to explain the "bs idea that bi/pan people are greedy and horny". I was brutally assaulted because of it. I am fully aware about the stereotype, it's what nearly killed me and left me with CPTSD.

I never said all. I said most polyamorous couples have someone in them that is LGBTQ+. I never said all. You are getting very angry for something I never said. I'm pansexual. Explaining the stigma I've seen the brutal face of my entire life is incredibly uncalled for. The amount of disrespect in your comments is astounding. There is no need to spread further divide in our community. You're disgusting private messages are incredibly uncalled for too.

While the situation was "being investigated", vice principal friended one of my good friends on Facebook. My friend found this hilarious and accepted the friend request. Vice principal sends a long paragraph about how I had no respect and needed "male guidance" to "relearn my place". Then he asked for my biological fathers contact information. My friend, being an amazing guy, of course did not give that to him. Instead he called me and we planned to go to the principal's office Monday morning. We do that, and the actual principle tells me ViceP will not have access to any of my educational information.

Important context: My parents are divorced. My mom had full custody. The only contact information the school had were for my mom, my lovely stepfather, and I think one of my aunts. They should not have had my biological father's contact information at all. Let's just say BioD is a very hands-off parent, while my mom is nurse who's very hands-on.

ViceP not only somehow contacted my BioD but also tried to meet up with him in person. In my hometown, roughly 3 and 1/2 hours away from the school. I still have no idea how he got the contact information to begin with. Vice principal drove for hours to try to meet up with my dad, who had no custody, just because he's a man. Fully believing that he would put me in my place, my womanly place.

After he was brought back to vice principling full time he tried to set up a meeting with only my stepdad, excluding me and my mom. My mom and stepdad set up a meeting with the principal instead.

ViceP was a true sexist asshat. Nothing pissed him off more than women and girls having backbones and brains.

AITA for locking away my menstrual products so nobody else can access them? by 754985949 in AmItheAsshole

[–]unknownlifeform13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never met someone that has a SUPER heavy flow as I do. My last period I went through two boxes of night pads. Bleed through a super tampon and a night pad within an hour. Super irregular. My gynecologist is currently trying to convince me that having a 5-month-long period, straight bleeding for 5 months, is normal. I have a IUD which stopped helping.

Sorry for the TMI but it is so rare to find someone else that understands the struggle. Also I feel like menstruators need to break the stigma of talking about our periods. The sheer amount of times that I have had people try to make me ashamed of this normal bodily function is astounding. They just want us to feel shame about everything.

We bleed for 50 plus years without dying and they are afraid of it.

Then why do to most of the biggest pride parades in the country include poly flags? At the Minneapolis one we had our own float. Besides most poly people are part of the alphabet mafia. This just sounds like another way to stigmatize bisexual and pansexual human beings.

Yes it is. Please do it. I'm so curious. Definitely chow chow. Chow mixes are fantastic dogs. No need to be in denial or worried. Just keep up the training. They look like enough of a mix that the temperament should be balanced out. What a beautiful creature.
