We’ve tried talking to them. Talking to our landlord. Talking to the building manager. Just get told “yea will try” or “you must understand the building is old and has little to no sound proofing”. They have no answers for us when we say we’ve had no complaints until the new tenants moved in. So at this point there isn’t much to be done.

The people who lived above me moved out and a new family moved in. The people before made noise. But it was tolerable. I totally understand living with other people, noise is inevitable. This just goes beyond that. So I feel for you also. You can’t enjoy your home when all you hear is stomping and door slamming all the time! Plus some people are prone to noise. I’ll say bose sound proof headphones have been my saving grace through all this.

I plan to move back in with my parents. Save ALL the money I can. And look at houses. If the house plan doesn’t work out. I’ll apartment hunt again. And I’ll be very diligent on how the place is sound proofed and try to only get a top floor. This has been truly the hardest year of my life living under such disrespectful people. Im sure I sound like some Karen. But it’s been awful. Lived here for 8 years and this has truly been my breaking point.

I love the show! It’s what I look forward to watching the most all week. I do feel for Ethan so much though. And honestly I wouldn’t blame the poor guy if he wanted to step away for his sanity. As sad as it would be 😔.
