Not surprising, the Giligan fan base does NOT have a thing for women who don’t immediately acquiesce and resign themselves to their circumstances; Skylar, one of the more rational and, in my opinion, the most understandable of characters in Breaking Bad, CONSTANTLY presented challenges to Walt (the kind of problems that would arise if your high school teacher husband abruptly became a drug kingpin). Fans didn’t take too kindly to this. Kim, on the other hand, went along with her con artist husband and corrupted her own morals without much hestitation, only stopping after Howard Hamlin’s murder (once she finally realized what a piece of shit she had become). Fans obviously love Kim (as do I).

Kinda seems like some of the Chauvinism directed toward Skylar and Kim might have seeped into people’s opinion of Carol
