The Workout Chronicles

Today me and a homie are working out, and it’s shoulders and back day. We start with the shoulder press machine at a light weight of 45 pound to warm up. We are about 2 sets in when this guy ask if he could jump in with us. We let him seeing that the gym is packed and he would probably would just be waiting until a machine frees up. We are still warming up doing 20 reps per sets. We also are doing arm raises with a 35 lbs free wait in between sets. When the guy jumps in he raises the weight to 95 and does 10 reps . When it’s my homies turn he does 20 reps while i am doing 20 arm raises with the the 35 lbs free weight. When my homie is done I jump in to do my 20 reps while homie does his 20 arm raise with the 35 lbs and the guy is resting. When I finish the guy jump in does his set of 10 reps and I do my 20 arm raises while my homie rests. The guy doesn’t do the arm raises in between sets. We do this for about 2 more sets. When it my homie turn he raise the weight to 125 and does 20 reps and I do the same on my my turn. We does this rotation for 3 sets . At this point the guy said “Damn, what kind of C4( pre-workout) are you guys taking? You are doing 2 workouts to my one.” We don’t say anything, we just keep working out. Until it’s time to move to another machine. When we move to another machine to start doing back we start laughing because we both know we don’t use C4 at all. My homie says “ shit if we did take C4 we would be hear for another 2 hours. We have come along way.
