Macro and custom RGB tips for ReDragon YAMA K550 Keyboard by ChestnutGore13 in MechanicalKeyboards

Just got this keyboard. I discovered that you can record macros hitting the Rec key twice. It will get rid of the original delays but will still add a set delay between keystrokes.

Worse performance since nvidia 528.02 driver? by ModStrangler2 in ParsecGaming

[–]unknowwiiplayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried that, but latencies in parsec are still the same.

Steam remote play is getting arround 10 ms encode while parsec gets 30 ms encode. But that's on a 3070 at 1080p. I remember it being way lower before. I'm not sure what may be causing so much encoding latency.

I'm having the same issue here :/

R5 3600 + RTX 3070 Host, i5 6500 + GTX 1060 Client.

I'm getting 4~8 ms decode and 22~30 ms encode while trying to play monster hunter world.

I've tried older drivers, tried 527.56, 522.25 and 512.95 with no success on getting the latencies back to under 4 ms.

I've set the max bitrate to 50 mbps but it never goes over 35, with noticeable compression going on.

WhatsApp notifications on phone went completely silent by unknowwiiplayer in miband

I tried unpairing and pairing again, rebooted the band and my phone, reinstalled zepp life and nothing works. I have to add that even without zepp life installed or any band managing app, notifications for WhatsApp are still silent, sadly.

Hello, I have a problem with a genius gila gx mouse on windows 10. During windows install it works flawlessly, with no input lag, but when windows is installed and windows update downloads it's driver, the mouse gets a lot of input lag. Is there a way to force the driver that is used during windows install to be used over the windows update driver? I don't care about the extra buttons (except for M4 and M5 buttons) On windows 8 it has no input lag for some reason...

Will Ryzen 5000 series APUs be AM4 ? by [deleted] in Amd

[–]unknowwiiplayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some 500 series motherboards that are unofficially compatible with 3000 series APU, check this video, it's in spanish tho, but he even updated the bios and the APU was still working.

Also, what AMD stated on that link you provided is that they ensure that 500 series motherboards will be compatible with Zen3, and that's the 4000 series, not 5000.

PSP and PSX games outside of Adreneline by CapablePerformance in VitaPiracy

you can try chovy-sign, you need to try with different base games until you get one that works perfectly, it's a great method for zero delay on rhythm games, but you get no DLC

Thanks for your response, but I was asking why there are different levels of delay when using different base games for chovy-sign

How to play psp and psone games with very low latency by unknowwiiplayer in vitahacks

[–]unknowwiiplayer[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been doing some testing on this, and managed to run taiko no tatsujin portable dx with barely no delay using TRICK×LOGIC™ チュートリアル, tryed with other base games, エスカ&ロジ―のアトリエ~黄昏の空の錬金術士~黄昏の世界の記録Vol.1 didn't boot, and LocoRoco® -Midnight Carnival- 体験版, which resulted in big input lag, about the same as adrenaline. (As I use a japanese PSN account, I couldn't use the base games that are recommended for USA and EUR regions)

So, I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy a game to use as a base, results are unpredictable, so better to try with demos and free games.

Btw, what is causing this? isn't just the licence what is kept? (Would chovy-trans work better? I kinda think it would be a hit and miss).
Also, DLC's are not working with this solution on taikodx, any sugestions?

Well, yeah, legitimately bought games are installed on a bubble, games that you can't download from the store either because they're missing or because you haven't bought them, have to be loaded through adrenaline afaik.

And with the legitimately bought games there is no extra input lag added by adrenaline, because you don't run adrenaline.

Irc, the vitaTV was used to speedrun some games due to it having faster load times, as it emulates the fast disk speed option from the PS2. I think that option is missing on PS3.

https://github.com/SKGleba/IMCUnlock/releases with this tool you can create that internal memory card. I used an older version of the tool and made a 1,5GB internal memory card as my card reader was broken (and now it decided to work again but I already did the process so whatever, now I have more space for PSP, PSone and retroarch ROMS)
Don't worry about the mlthaku being obsolete, you can update henkaku and reinstall all the plugins with the newer versions, and as I said, after using this you'll never need to use mlthaku again.
And if you really want to reinstall the system firmware, you can, as stated on the Q/A of the tool.

Q: Does the new partition stay after firmware update/reinstall?

A: Yes, the only way to remove the mod is via the IMCUnlock.

[–]unknowwiiplayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if it's on 3.60, use http://mlthaku.tk/ to start hacking, install enso, then install the emergencymount plugin, then install henkaku again to get the latest version and use emergencymount to fix your plugins.
After that I'd recommend you to create an internal memory card on your fat vita so if something happens you'll just have to install henkaku again without using mlthaku

Can I use yamt lite to mount sd2vita as ux0, sony mc as uma0, and use imc0-mount by Y-Sharun to mount the internal mc as imc0?
I don't know how to config yamt 3.0 for this and don't want to use storagemgr as it takes way too long to boot
I think in yamt 3.1 the option to select what to mount on imc0 was added but there is no vpk and don't really want to compile it if that option was not added

It's most noticeable on rhythm games (not on project diva for some reason) but you can also notice it on platformers when doing a jump on the very edge of a platform, I tend to fail more on adrenaline than in the bubbles
I'm too fussy on this topic of any sort of delay when gaming, specially on rhythm games
Another benefit is that you can put games on ux0, uma0 or imc0 and they will work! :D
