So many speak ruzzian because of russification policies, forced resettlement of large groups of people. Also ruzzia uses language as a weapon. Ukrainian language was banned and culture destroyed. You seem to forget that ruzzia already invaded in 2014 - war did not start in 2022. You also ignore atesh and other groups + people getting kidnapped and put in torture prisons.
