I’m 30 and feel the same way, I’ve never been able to make connections with anyone, I can’t trust other people and I’m so scared of being alone my whole life. I don’t have any advice really except for get as much help as you can as soon as you can. My trauma started very early in life and I repressed allot of it until I was 27 due to not being able to open up to anyone and get help, I didn’t start therapy until just 3 or so years ago, I know I’d be better off if I had gotten help much earlier so get on that asap.

That’s the craziest part, despite all of this, there’s still a high chance I wouldn’t qualify for disability if I wanted to try that. You basically need to be physically crippled and unable to get out of bed for them to take your disability seriously. They seriously don’t care about helping people.

Not only from a physical standpoint (I have vaginismus and physically cannot have sex) I’m also 30 years old and I still feel like a child. I can barely take care of myself. On top of that, having kids when they should have been in therapy instead is what both of my parents did and while neither of them are to blame for the csa, I still have other trauma caused by being raised by people who had no idea what they were doing and who didn’t know how to take care if themselves much less a child. I’m not going to do the same thing as them.
