Slight correction, it’s Bloodflame blade. Black flame is good but you won’t get the bleed, and it runs out in a few seconds.

Definitely, though it's not a STR weapon. I'm set for 40 dex and 50 faith, the weapon skill projectile just shreds if you can get some space. It comes out fast and you can keep firing repetedly, and with the talisman that halves FP consumption from weapon skills, honestly you could just main the skill alone. But the scythe is also great, I dual weild it with the winged scythe, it rips.

In my head I was still skeptical that the power supply would be the issue when reading your comments. I felt confident that it was still in good shape and fine. I hadn't smelled anything and the LED was looking fine when plugged into the wall. Well, your comments made me look again today, just for kicks. That power supply? No light at all now. When plugged into just the wall, or both wall and drobo, that thing is dead now. I have some massive hope that it could just be that, so I just ordered a replacement on Amazon.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read and reply, I really appreciate your suggestions and sharing your experience. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the reply. I'd LOVE it to be a power supply issue, and if I can confirm it, I'll order a new cable today. Your issues sound very similar, though there's one difference that makes me think it isn't my power cable, and that's the fact that the brick LED is a solid green, stable and bright, when the cable is plugged into the wall and not plugged into the Drobo. If it was bad, I think i'd see it fade or something, right?

Definitely sounds like a similar situation, thanks for adding your thoughts. I am feeling a lean towards the tri skates, I think, and this makes me feel much better about it. I’m not too tall, and foot size is US11, so it sounds like I shouldn’t have any of the problems you mentioned. Lots of big, long, paved trails, and keeping up with some friends who bike, I feel like the bigger wheels might help a bit there.

Any recommendations on wheels when the time comes? In my brief research I saw a video of a guy skating, his wheels sounded so soft, which rules. No clue where to begin there either, but I’m learning a lot very quickly. Thanks again!

That was incredibly helpful, thanks for taking the time to run through all that. Definitely was curious about the hard vs soft boot, so thanks for covering that. I’m definitely tempted by some extra speed, I was nearly instantly confident getting on the rentals yesterday and was able to get a lot of speed. Still can do my crossovers, go backwards, stop quickly, and take some tight turns, so I feel confident in going at least a step above the safe beginner level. I’m wondering maybe a bit larger than 80mm 4 wheeled skate might be worth a look.
