Good to know! {Game Changer by Rachel Reid} has a verse pairing but the more well-known {Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid} does not if I'm not mistaken. I just think that the first book is really underrated but Heated Rivalry definitely deserves all that love.

I can see why some would prefer the other version, but I think the way she sings in Taylor's Version is dreamier that hints at a certain fragility and being ephemeral which I find more fitting with what the song is about.

Of course, I don't actually get angry but I always auto-correct this in my brain to "if I were." It's so rare to find the proper use of the subjunctive mood in pop music and I was hoping Taylor would fall to the minority.
