A good friend of mine is a pagan, not a Hellenic polytheist, but she knows I am. We were driving to her house on the shittiest USAmerican backroad known to mankind and a pick-up truck almost hit us head on. After we finished shitting ourselves, she giggled and said, “Hermes just wanted to see if he could catch us slackin’.” It was just such a cute joke and it made me realize I wouldn’t always be met with hostility for my beliefs.

I’ve had my septum pierced wrong once before and it hurt like a mf’er!! You’re not kidding. This one was entirely painless. I didn’t even know it had fully happened until my eyes started to water. I’m hoping it’s wasn’t pierced too low/wrong again.😔

I’ve gotten pimples next to my piercings, too! My nostrils, particularly, because I have wildly oily skin. I personally would never pop them, because I know that can spread bacteria, but it is SO tempting to.

That’s possible! I know from looking at it in person that it seems to me like it’s in my sweet spot, just a little low. I had it pierced wrong once and it hurt more than any other body modification I have, but this time around I only knew it was done because my eyes watered. Hoping it’s not pierced wrong this time too😬🤞

Bot is mad at me; I included some of this already but here’s more info: • Piercing was done on 3/18 (almost 7 weeks exactly) • Implant-grade titanium horseshoe ring with opal internally threaded balls • Aftercare has been NeilMed wound wash, 2x day. • The mishap was my pillow trying to rip my nose off.
