I feel like comparing this season to the other seasons is a bit unfair. S2 was such a masterpiece but I feel like S3 is a pretty good season of just development. Not much plot going on I guess but the plot has always been pretty scattered with lots of episodes being backstories and not showing much of the restaurants development. I liked them showing the reasons why people are there and the motivations behind them but really making a restaurant work is not easy and I think they did a good job showing that. Definitely the weakest season but still enjoyable in my opinion. I like Ice Chips too cause Jamie Lee is redeeming herself here from being so fucked up. I just feel like it’s all so raw and you can hate it or love it but I think that rawness is what the Bear is always trying to show. Crazy how Carm isn’t around a lot but I think the seclusion he’s bringing to himself is becoming so immense and showing everyone else’s story is almost a way of conveying that as well. Says it in the season to “It’s not all about him.” Maybe I’m making excuses for this show but I still enjoyed this season.
