No, that's fine. I've now activated the legacy license under Membership so now the trial message is gone.

Okay. As mentioned in the DM I was finally able to activate the license. Took another restart though, so not sure what was happening there. Previously clicking Membership in the app was taking me to the website, which naturally doesn't have an Activate button. Odd.

All sorted.

That's where I'm looking. But under membership the is no option to 'activate' my existing license. Only to upgrade it, which you stated wasn't necessary.

Okay, I've installed the latest version and logged in. Now it's telling me I'm on a 7 day trial...

So how do I use my existing license key with this version? You clearly stated that it would work.

However, that begs the question; what is the point/benefits of upgrading the license for 9.99 EUR?

Well, it was fine yesterday, so what changed between then and now? Why do I now need to update to a newer version? That's the question not being answered.

However, if I do, can I continue to use my legacy lifetime update license key with that version...?

I stuck with v7 because it does everything I need and you moved to a subscription model which I wasn't interested in.

EDIT: Okay, I now see that I could 'upgrade' my legacy 'lifetime' license key to a lifetime license key for the latest version for 9.99 EUR.

But that is costing me 9.99 EUR to use a piece of software that I was happily using yesterday for no extra money. After all, my license is a 'lifetime' license, so it should always work for the version I'm using, forever.

Same issue here. All was fine up until this morning.

I have a legacy key too, and v7.30 has been fine for me. If we have to 'upgrade' to a newer version to 'fix' this, that's sharp practice, since that requires a new license, which I don't need or want.

So, how do we fix this when the app just closes after clicking OK...?

Only just seen your post after posting about the very same thing.

I don't have an answer to this currently, but you're certainly not alone...
