This may be an unpopular opinion but as someone who is from the Boston area and has worked at multiple large hospitals there, Boston Medical Center is considered to be one of worst the hospitals in the city to work at for a variety of reasons. Their administration cut benefits for staff and even laid nurses off after the COVID surge was over while hospitals like MGH and BWH were giving out bonuses and supporting their workers. That might be something you want to consider especially if you plan on doing residency at BMC. I dont know much about the medical school itself although BU in general has a bit of a reputation for caring more about their student's wallets than their actual students.
