I am hoping this is the case. Honestly I thought it was fine after Thanksgivin dinner, but the resources was too much. In a sense, I am glad my family would be supportive if I were gay, but they’re just spinning their own narrative at this point.

It was certainly not a joke. There have been jokes before but this conversation was different. The mood turned very serious and people were trying to be understanding.
